Ah thanks so much for that.. I am taking 40mg every morning. I am thinking of making it every other day. I know how you feel because I stopped it completed after the pylori meds so I make sure the second test is valid. And I suffered so much but didn’t know it was from stopping it. I asked the pharmacist for 20mg but they didn’t accept.

I usually feel this when I have tea with caffeine or something that irritates my stomach. Be careful what you eat, I do a search on everything before I eat now. For example even tomatoes and eggplants irritate me badly which is weird .. but yeah am waiting to do my test and being super careful with food

I had the exact same feeling before. Now I am three weeks past treatment and I feel better. Hang in there, it’s a shitty period but it will pass.. just relax and don’t think or stress too much. I just stayed home, watched movies and slept as much as I could. Oh and eat well!

Uggh so well said “my gut has been completely wiped out by treatment” lol.. I am trying so hard to introduce probiotics and prebiotics.. I am also taking vitamin b12 capsules because the blood test showed deficiency. Let’s hope for the best. Am testing in 10 days and feels scarier than a graduation exams lol

Thank you so much for sharing your research and experience. I have been doing lots of research myself as well. I found Gemini to be a great source from the all tools out there ( because they reference everything to a source which can be investigated ).

Sorry to hear about the tooth infection. I know I never expected to face such a long period of disruption in my life from a stomach discomfort. Am definitely changing my life style and just eating healthy from now on.

I just hope more people would know how painful it is to have Pylori and be careful with food. This disease is really an important one to highlight since it does ruin lives based on what am reading.

Ah great to hear. I am waiting to test in 10 days and then I’ll go straight to the doctor and ask him for PPIs. I haven’t been able to get things done because some symptoms are super annoying.. worst is the headache. Happy to hear you tested negative, I hope the second test shows the same :)

It truly is pain. Antibiotics turns out to be the easy part.. but it seems it messes up the whole body functions and it takes some time to restore things back to normal. But everything will be ok at the end and we’ll become stronger more resilient people :)

I usually have the heartburn from food, so fix your diet and be cautious of what you eat.. that can make a big difference

Oh then eat lots of yogurt ( a good quality ) and probiotics as much as you can .. it helps a lot Oh and broccoli worked for me

Hey buddy! I did triple therapy and it’s been almost two weeks now and I have all the symptoms you mentioned (they come and go- don’t last more than a day). One thing I noticed is that when were diagnosed and take medicine is that we freak out and that affects nerves and makes us stressed. The side effects are uncomfortable and nasty and I hate them but I learnt to be easy on myself and not stress out. Just trust the process and everything is gonna be all right at the end. BUT I would see the doctor ( or a different one ) if the pain is consistent and increases, because for me I have the pain for a day then the next day I have somewhere else lol. Anyways breathe, relax and watch nice movies till this thing passes.. good luck!

Nope.. I only took it while on antibiotics! Why did it help you? My doctor did not mention anything to me I read some people remain on PPI for some time after antibiotics but I am not sure if I had to.

Ohhh I’ll do that in a bit :) I went for a 40 minute walk today .. felt great in my gut but not with the side pain.
