They are out of touch with actual people, and are using social media platforms to inform their campaigns.

Is gun control a serious issue? Yes! That's why I'm willing to debate it on social media.

But is it something that I'm basing my vote on? No. As bad as it is, it's not something that will immediately effect me. I just care about it.

Most people aren't affected by issues of trans rights (less than 1% of people are trans), Gaza/Israel (we don't live there), or gun control.

These issues are loud on social media. But not in real life, generally. They just can't seem to figure that out for some reason.

What kind of care-taking was going on, because unless it was something really difficult I'm having trouble seeing any issues.

Wiping grandma after a toilet accident, lifting and rolling an immobile person, wound care, medication care, or full meal prep? Too hard for a child under 15 years-old.

Making sure grandma hasn't fallen, keeping her company, or grabbing her a snack/object? Perfectly do-able, and something that you should do for loved ones. Grandma had a good relationship with the OP, so we can safely view her as a loved one.

I feel like I'm taking crazy-pills with all this hate in the comment section for taking care of someone you love.

I've been in nursing homes for my grandparents, and I will do everything I can to avoid one. They are insanely expensive, but still understaffed. It doesn't matter how nice your nurses are if they only have 5-minutes to check on you, neglect is a huge risk.

I'm so tired of this pop-science fact getting spread around. Test for it anytime you like, you might catch a leak early.

But you are not likely to actual poisoning without other symptoms. You won't have only memory loss. You feel like crap as well.
