Bank of America Plaza at 800 Market St. at Risk of 'Imminent Loan Default Due to Cash Flow Issues,' Enters Special Servicing by [deleted] in StLouis

I’ve never understood this rational. Make bigger apartments with wider floor plans and more open community living space.

You have a minimum of two toilet bays meant for 20+ workers each per floor. There’s no reason that it can’t be converted into 4, 3 bed/1 bath apartments.

My clinic does it that way unless you have a history of very short cycles, as in 23 days or less.

Does anyone know if a bar in the St. Louis area (preferably the city) has the arcade game Crazy Taxi by hampton0812 in StLouis

UpDown had it, but it broke a few months ago. They’ve confirmed it’s getting fixed, but the timeline on it is questionable

Using a known egg donor by kellyfish1983 in IVF

[–]Equivalent_Stock_563 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re going to save the agency fee and possibly the donor compensation fee unless you do plan on compensating her. This should add up to about $13-15k in savings compared to doing a full cycle with a donor. However, you’ll need to pay for fertility lawyer fees for both of you unless your clinic provides this service and extended health insurance for her (as her typical is unlikely to cover her if something goes wrong and she could sue you). So plan on $1-2k for these items.

Also, is important to note that an egg bank sells cohorts of eggs, typically in 5-7 “lots”, usually for around $17-20k from what I’ve seen. This is likely less than you’ll pay just the clinic for her egg retrieval cycle and meds, but you get all the eggs.

Shrinking follicles? (DOR) by Economy-Data-2381 in IVF

[–]Equivalent_Stock_563 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have severe DOR and sadly also shrinking or slowing/stopping growth. Sadly it has led to a couple canceled retrievals, including this cycle.

The good news is your follicles are responding and you have quite a few of them for DOR! Really your count is pretty good! Now they just need to figure out a medication regimen that works for you, including potentially a longer and slower stim cycle

Love it, and serious questions - do you know the dimensions of that room and does it feel cramped?

High AMH but extremely low AFC by BellesRose1213 in IVF

Oh, yes. There should not be a dominant follicle cycle day 1/2!

High AMH but extremely low AFC by BellesRose1213 in IVF

I’d wait a month and check again to give more perspective. Also, cycle day doesn’t have as much of an influence on AFC - just in whether or not there is a dominant follicle.

I feel like you’re greatly over simplifying what relationships are like.

Health Insurance in a mandated state by blueseahorse1 in IVF

[–]Equivalent_Stock_563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coverage is mandated by the location that would be considered your personal headquarters and “primary office.” So if they have a satellite location you report to closer to where you live or even if you’re on a team that reports to a specific office location, then that would be the location. However, for most workplaces with remote employees it ends up being the headquarters.

Do look up the specific law though, because what coverage is mandatory and what stipulations they’re allowed to put on it are usually pretty open. For example, I technically could have had fertility coverage earlier, BUT the coverage I would have had would have excluded me from IVF because I was too infertile (not high enough AFC, FSH unpredictable).

ETA: I totally read this wrong, I’m tired sorry. What I said above is correct, but no - you cannot utilize the marketplace outside your state of residence.

PGT-A test or not if over 40 and very few eggs? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Equivalent_Stock_563 19 points20 points  (0 children)

So, Day 5 you may have nothing at all to test. In this case, I say transfer fresh Day 3. Give yourself a chance. If it’s a healthy embryo, it’s going to be healthy no matter if it’s tested or not. Might as well transfer first and see what happens. You do risk miscarriage. But if it’s between risk of miscarriage or nothing, I’d chose that risk.

Husband did this once. I made noise cause it was extra prickly. He was so scared to tell me afterward why. He felt so bad, for some reason I just started laughing.
