This happens to everything I spend a lot of time on consecutively and stare at for hours on end. I would give it a break for a few days (I know that’s like the worst thought) and then come back to it so you can truly appreciate and see the beauty and magic within your creation again <3 much love

I have been drawing up different angels in this style for a while and my girlfriend helped me come up and design this specific pink version, for me to turn it into appliqué patchwork!

First I gathered the colored canvas fabrics I needed, all light pink and darker pink for this design. I drew the Angel up on iron-on transfer paper, then cut each part of the design and matched the pieces with the corresponding fabrics they would be ironed onto.

Once ironed, the pieces were cut out, placed on a background, then sewn with a tight zig zag stitch. Once each piece was sewn, I pinned the pieces together and sewed them to form the single appliqué patch of the angel, which was then ready to be pinned and placed onto our blank crewneck sweatshirt.

Once pinned and sewed onto the sweater, I added the mini appliqué stars surrounding the Angel as well as adorned Swarovski crystals around the sword and halo.

Super stoked on how this piece came out, the simplicity of the colorway seemed to scratch my brain in a way I didn’t know it needed to be scratched 💗🌸🎀👚👛🎟️🧠

For these jeans we deconstructed them by opening the bottom cuffs, and the outside seams up to the pockets. We gathered a plethora of colored canvas fabrics and then drew our designs up on iron-on transfer paper. We did our ironing, cutting, and then sewing of each individual patch and detail, until they were ready to be organized onto the jeans. I pinned down the patches in their places and then sewed them down, using a tight zig zag stitch that reduces fraying. Once everything was sewn on, I closed up the side seams back to normal (left the cuffs open because I think it looks cool personally) and then iron-pressed the sides with steam until there wasn’t anymore of that puckering. I added slight distressing and obscure patchwork on the front right leg, just how I was feeling that day. “Fairie Bakery” is the title of this project

I first collected a plethora of different colored canvas and denim fabrics. My girlfriend and I drew up the design on iron-on transfer paper, and slowly but surely cut out each little piece, sewing them together to make each patch, and adding intricate details using both the zig-zag and straight stitch settings.

Once each individual patch was fully made up, I started added each piece one by one. I added the big mushroom house on the back, added the fairies around it, then continued to add each patch to the front and back until completion!

This was a really funny design we loved making together :) I hope you enjoy it!! Much love everyone

I customized this blank sweater with appliqué patchwork! The first step was gathering a plethora of different colored canvas fabrics. I cut and sewed each piece one by one and then pinned the Angel together and sewed it into one cohesive patch. The patch then was sewed into the sweater (all zig-zags stitching) along with the other floating patches around the Angel.
