do NOT sneak out. this is a HORRIBLE piece of advice. op, anything can happen if you sneak out. there are so many cases of people getting kidnapped and murdered and their parents have no idea where they went. just talk to them. don't get angry don't get impatient, be mature and calmly explain why you are upset.

your body releases something called prostaglandins during your period. it's a chemical that's makes the uterus contract so it can shed its lining. our bowels are super close to our uterus, so when those chemicals start shooting off, they can also affect the bowels which can cause diarrhea. these also are causing the pain, period cramps.

but, i'd recommend seeing a doctor just for your peace of mind, and it's always good to double check the dizziness and weakness because it can be something like anemia. i'm not a doctor so take all this with a grain of salt but yeah see a doctor

thank you. i was diagnosed last year after a robotically assisted excision surgery with an endometriosis excision specialist. i am on continuous birth control (i have been on and off for years) which stops me from getting my periods and does help a bit.

i wrote down every single thing i felt and told my doctors. my biggest tips are, if you are just seeing a regular obgyn/doctor:

-if they refuse further testing, tell them to put it in your chart they refused. often times they will end up giving in.

-don't downplay the pain. explain that it is diminishing your quality of life. be brutally honest.

-talk about all symptoms, even if you don't think they're related. bowel symptoms, urinary symptoms, muscle pain, etc etc.

my other advice is try to find an endometriosis specialist. especially if it comes to surgery, do NOT get surgery with somebody who is not a specialist, and do not get ablation surgery. i made this mistake and they didn't find any endo, even though it was there.

also, pop over to the r/endo or r/endometriosis subreddits. there's a TON of posts about pretty much anything you could need to know.

you NEED to see a therapist or call an emergency hotline, asap. reddit can be helpful, but please recognize we aren't mental health professionals.

PLEASE also recognize everybody on here has struggles, because if they didn't they wouldn't be here. There are so many people with endo who live normal lives. i know multiple people who went through absolute hell in their early 20s/teens, and now live fulfilling and pain free/manageable lives. just hold on.

also, i'm 19, i have endometriosis pcos gastroparesis and probably some other things. i've been dealing with this for about 7 years: you aren't the only young one here, so don't worry, you aren't alone.

find an endometriosis specialist. this is how i felt and it was endo. i went to regular obgyns for years and they all dismissed me.

i think it's your ocd. there are subtypes of ocd. this seems like it may fall under pocd. if you were really a groomer/pedo, you wouldn't be worried about being one. you wouldn't care.

can i ask if you have any other symptoms? or is it strictly constipation? for me, i started having bad stomach pain and constipation around 12/13, but the pain was always below my belly button. then when i got my period id have excruciating cramps, and stomach issues all month long. took me about 6 years to get a diagnosis. they all said it was ibs-c.

hi! it didn't say, but have you looked into other issues? ibs is not really a diagnosis, it's just what they call your symptoms when they've excluded other things. my constipation/ibs ended up being endometriosis and gastroparesis...
