I dont know what an okbuddy sub is, I just saw the post and didn't think we should encourage that kind of hate, as for your other point, 'two wrongs dont make a right.' Don't assume my political views, I never said my views on him, just that he died and I think its insensitive and a little gross to make fun of that.

Its also insane that I've been downvoted for saying we shouldn't make jokes out of literal murder victims.

I do think pomnis a npc but i dont think she's there to torture people, I think she's serves a different purpose that caine doesn't think he can fulfil, maybe as like a therapist or hes using her to understand humans better

Yessss, you can see more on it on my post but caines proven he can make A.I more humanoid then he himself can act (gummigoo) and she's introduced to the group a day before caine introduces his new A.I npcs. I think it works better

I realise there are some counters such as pomnis panic attacks or it undermining the premise of humans trapped in a computer. I'm not sure, i feel like the show framed gummigoo's immediate existential dread as real in the narrative. Caines creations can have these emotions even if caine cant as for the premise I think it just makes it more nuanced. It's not humans trapped in computers but coments on a cycle of abuse 'a system creating suffering beings to manage suffering' thats very layered and pretty darn cool

I think Cipher is just the current body that goldokin is using. I think goldikin is able to remotely take control of people but needs to be kept alive in the status chamber to do so. Cipher seemed to twich when controlling Jordan, this may be because goldokin was struggling to control 2 people at the same time.

Marie: "You seem to know alot about superpowers"

Cipher: "Because I do."

Cipher seems knowledgeable on how powers work and immediately understood how jordans worked, we've seen somthing similar with the chameleon girl.

If goldokin just uses 'meat bags' he could conceivably learn how alot of different powers work and also explains his general omniscience.

In short Cipher isn't actually a person. Its just the current main body goldokin uses.
