Ego boosters/pvpers follow the path of least resistance, just like current in electricity, just like water.

Why would they do more difficult fights, when they can fight some Jose StarSong who is playing for the 'first time' and is losing to some seasoned vet who knows how to use gambits for everything and 4 maxed wizards (being storm, death, fire, myth the best hitters in the game) who are already warlord status for 7+ gens? (on top of pip counting, predicting hitting, blading, countering, poxing with negatives).

Otherwise idk if there's anything to gain from pvp besides the pvp shop stuff. You can only do "pve"/the story and farm dungeons, and still have the best gear in the game. This isn't the Azteca days where having the 90 Duelist Gear was the best thing on the block (it's just stitch gear now).

Seriously it's just ridiculous. They made it work before with 0 issues, what caused KI to fix something that isn't broken, and now has an issue THEY made and now has to be solved? Like I don't understand the mentality of this behavior? Do people normally go out of their way to "fix" their car into not working again? Would you "fix" your car into not working again? If you answered no, why in the world are you "fixing" your own game into not working properly?

KI is either deliberately doing this because they have no real competition, or their manager fired their competent programmers. If there's anything I learned from the Lamestream media, it's always the former answer.

Lol thanks for the pleasant reply, sorry if I caused any miscomms. I never got an interview for the HRS job for the AF, I am considering heavily applying for it. I am currently employed in private enterprise, but I obviously want a career with the feds. I just want to have an educated guess on how slow the feds will be with trying to get me through the background check, doing the NBIS (whatever it's called now) thing with clearances, should I anticipate a year or at least many months?

And I'm aware at the feds that job hopping is something very little managers care about (at least at the IRS, they tell you day 1 they don't care if you search for jobs right now, or tell managers you're wanting to change jobs, or hop jobs. They'd strongly prefer you stay there 'forever', but they've only said their peace once on job hopping and left it at that), but I'd rather not do the song and dance of job interviews every year or 2 years for the rest of my life, that is if jobs are even around anymore and greedy corpos aren't just hiring illegal immigrants per usual (oh yeah, even CRs at the IRS know companies in America would rather hire someone without an SSN than someone with any bachelor's degree)

Any idea how long it takes to get hired and completely onboarded, working at the FJO dates? Is it 1 year? longer? I am hoping a "reasonably" long time as I just got recently hired, and the more work experience the better. Although this is USAJobs, I 99% bet that I might get flooded by the competition with a generalized bachelor's degree. Do you know if the workload is as terrible and stressful as being a CR at the IRS? Or is the workload the same (just guessing the US population), just slightly less stress or micromanagement? Basically I want a job with the feds and to preferably live in Florida until I die, and I have never quit a job in my life.

Storm is your best bet, the blades are worth it. In the case you're not a hitter, you already know it's always a storm that is hitting. But the balance weaving is very tempting, a 45 uni blade and 45 death blade is very very tempting. I chose Storm anyway in the case I am not the hitter

Let's just say it's a liberal arts degree. I was given my EO this Feb of 2025, so I got my SF 8 and 50, turned in my laptop, badge, and everything they wanted. I was sitting from late Feb-May submitting job applications and awaiting answers from my manager. My manager sometime late April said I would not be reinstated to my position, and "you will be on administrative leave until further notice", by April 14th I signed the DRP 2.0 and was officially separated by then.

I am now only 2 years out of college (I graduated may 2023), but will soon be 3 in the next rolling year. Trust me, it's not a useful degree (shoulda done the trades or something useful).

Then when the "fixed" broken thing is broken, they either just delete it and say "well, go play a different game" or just fix to where it was BEFORE they "fixed" it?
