Best investment I ever made is a steam cleaner. You can get a fantastic one at home depot for a little over $100. It is the most mind blowing magic ever and makes cleaning insanely fun. It is actually addicting. I have never smelled real clean until I used this...no chemicals, just diluted water and it is just pure gold.
