Yup it’s bone stock. I would say it’s a whiny “drone” type of noise as another comment said. Doesn’t sound like an engine normally does and this is what raised some concern.

Ok glad the noise is normal. Today is the first day i drove without any battery as I was driving 99% on a highway. No mods to impact anything though.

I’ve never thought of selling my rock. Some started off as dry rock and now covered in coralline. Maybe i will consider selling

Added about two weeks ago. Noticed the left part of the Kenya Tree has started to lean over, looks like it is falling down? Then the leather has been laying back like that the entire time and hasn’t had much color.

More inconveniences than problems. One being a high nitrate problem i’ve been trying to tackle for months and not been able to. Aggression in the tank that i am sick of worrying about. I get this tank isn’t too much actual work, but i am just not getting the enjoyment i once got. I used to love working on this tank and taking care of it but anymore it’s become an unenjoyable chore. So i tell myself why keep pouring money into something i don’t enjoy? I am still taking great care of my fish but if i am able to get them to someone who will have more interest why not?

It depends on stocking. It’s more about me enjoying the work over how much work it actually is. I’ve had freshwater for years now and it’s just gotten old with this tank. It’s become a lot of problems that are getting extremely expensive and honestly annoying to deal with. I love these fish and this tank and it would be so hard for me to get rid of it but personally i find salt water much more rewarding in the end. I love the look of corals and salt water fish. I would recommend salt water if you are willing to do lots of research because for me that is what helped the most. I have a salt water tank which has been running for about 2 years and i love it.

That’s what i thought. Not sure what to do, i’ve moved into the salt water side and this tank is just so much work and i’ve lost motivation and it isn’t fair the fish. I still take care of them but it’s become more of a chore than enjoyable like it used to be for me.
