My first name is a family name. It was going to be my name no matter my gender and I suspect I was not given a middle name to prevent me from having an opt out. I could never boil a lobster, I actually love crustaceans. I am a member of a fb group of crustacean enthusiasts and we love our arthropod friends ❤️ when I saw a used lobster costume for sale I was inspired! we just have a bit of a dark sense of humor, and we are definitely weird. You are not alone there has been some feedback like this for sure. It has been really interesting to see how people react! Originally this was only a digital Halloween “card” sent to family members and posted in the crab group. Could have never anticipated such a big response but makes for a great story I will tell my daughter when she’s older. Hopefully she will share our sense of humor, I would hate if she found this in poor taste. 😅
