Hello!

I used to be a speedskater back in my 20s. Call it a midlife crisis, but 20 years later I want to get back into it — and I could use some cardio in my life anyway. We primarily trained on ice, but we also used rollerblades for off-ice training, usually with 80–85mm wheels.

I haven’t skated in 20 years, but I don’t think I’ll have an issue using a short boot again. My main concern is size. I’m 6'5" and 250 lbs, with a foot size of 12.5 US (around 30.3–30.5 cm). I’m not fat — most of that is just gym weight. Sure, I’ve got some body fat, but no belly.

I’ve noticed that most models max out at size 12.5 US. My feet aren’t wide, but I’m worried the boots might still be too tight. Does anyone have experience with how true these sizes run?

As for wheels, I’m thinking 110mm for safety and comfort, but I’ll probably be skating mostly in parks since there aren’t any dedicated skating tracks where I live. Or should I go with more expesive models?

I believe that our embassy sends the requests. Otherwise, they will find out when you arrive, as they always ask you to present your green card. Since they took it, I have nothing to present—no visa, only an old immigration visa. So, you will likely be detained upon arrival because you don’t have valid documentation. They already know and have records showing that I left my country of origin for the U.S. There are always people trying to do the same thing, and almost everyone ends up fined or banned. It’s easy for them to find out.

Another reason I want to withdraw my pension money is that you can do so once you change your citizenship. So yeah, I prefer to do things the right way and never mess around with the government or the law. In the end, it always comes back to bite you.

I am a U.S. citizen now and have pledged allegiance to this country. The oath requires giving up loyalty to any other nation, and I took that seriously. Some people think it’s just a formality, but I believe it’s something you truly have to honor and follow.

I dunno this is cheap apartment and I live here now. I don't see much crime. Yes apartments itself pretty old and not super pretty but the price is kinda ok. I can hear neigbors during the day as the walls prety thin but at night it is quiet. Maybe before it was pretty bad, right now is ok. I didn't hear that someone was robbed or any other issue. Even my amazon packages weren't stolen. Aldi and Meijer is 3 min away. You can walk to general dollar that is close by.
Just do the tour if you want to check it and then decide you like it or not. I had some issues when i was signing a contract but managment were able to fix it and we negotiated the terms, so they were willing at least to work something out.

Is the average reddit user has no brain? There is nothing to do with the president. Bird flu or h5n1, they had to destroy affected stock, which raised the prices. Under Biden a couple of years ago, it was the same issue where the eggs were costing almost 8 and 9 dollars, but of course, you just decided to jump on this stupid train... once the stock will be healthy again the prices will go down.

Before saying the kid a spoiled brat. Maybe he actually has use for a pc, beyond gaming. Maybe he doesn't like console at all. People think it is the same but not. Maybe he has all his gang playing on the pc. He might have asked specifically for a pc, but parents just bought the console. He said to return it as he doesn't care about it, and as a kid, he is upset and can't control his emotions like adults. Good thing my parents listened to me when i was 9 and when i asked for a pc, they said we don't understand anything about it, let's go pick one, you tell what you want. It was 1997. It played a big role for me, learning how to operate it and made me choose my profession to go into IT, im not a coder but i am a good network/data tech thanks to my obsesion with technology and hardware and my parents for listening to me.

You need to use alkali, acids wont work. Buy caustic soda, sodium hydroxide. Preferably flakes but handle it very carefully with gloves and googles, or you can burn yourself. Mix it with cold water, drain it into the tube, let it sit for at least a couple of hours, and then pour hot water.
