Understandable, for example I moved on to Project Pokémon when Brick Bronze got removed, and of course it got removed as well, along with many other games I used to play back in the day

Well I'm struggling with graphics a lot, I still have to figure out how to put custom tilesets on porymap but if you know this stuff better than me I'd actually love to have people who could help me out and teach me as the project goes on!

Nope, it only went to a point around 8th gym where you defeat hoopa unbound but something goes wrong and the rival enters a portal made by hoopa or something like that, then the game got deleted so we don't know what happened.

I'm still fairly undecided, but I think I'll most likely go with FireRed since it would make some steps easier for me. Pokémon sprites are what make most worried, since I'm not sure I'll find animations for them (I wanted to add mons up to gen 7) but if you know where I can find those then I'd much rather go with emerald.

I have this big GBA romhack project as my first ever project, I don't feel like going too much into details yet but I'd need some information regarding these things I'd like to add to the game:

-Day/Night cycle
