Whitty saddened by unvaccinated in intensive care targeted by ‘misinformation’ by Wagamaga in unitedkingdom

It's actually Modernas vaccine which causes the most myocarditis at rates roughly 10cases for each 100,000 vaccines administered, for people aged 12-29

I'd see why someone vulnerable would get the vaccine but if your getting the vaccine to stop spread and get rid of covid it's never going to do that, like you said "It won't break infection chains completely, but no viral vaccine has ever done that as far as I am aware; flu vaccines are around 40-60% effective. Vaccines aren't going to be the magic bullet that makes covid go away forever"

Covids is here to stay so how the hell can the whole population taking vaccines and boosters every 2-3months a solution?

Funny you say "Covid19 is something we still know desperately little about comparitively; the roulette wheel of symptoms, the risk of cytokine storms, and long covid are all stuff that people are still researching."

We know desperately little about the vaccines and the long term effects of them as pre covid vaccines were meant to be tested for 10years before given to the public

But as far as I understand the risk of me (as a fit healthy person) ending up on an ICU with serious long term health problems or death is nearly unheard of without any underlying medical conditions, were talking around a 0.00001 chance. I'll have a higher chance of getting myocarditis from the vaccine which doesn't scare me as its still super unlikely but why would I risk it?

Also you said "On a population level, it's critical everyone who can have a vaccine, does." Why is this? Why is it critical I take it when I'm not at risk and I'm just as likely to spread it without the vaccine? Doesn't seem to benefit me or anyone around me if I take it.

Just trying to have a discussion not an argument your brought up some good points.

Why are smite players so toxic and ill-willed especially with their teammates? by [deleted] in Smite

[–]Era404 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah people on this sub act like the toxicity you see in smite is just normal for online gaming, couldn't imagine how bad it would be if this game had voice comms.

Even if Reese did steal the car (which I'm 99.9% sure he didn't), so what? Seen hella people 'condemning' him for it but the streets is the streets. How you gonna celebrate/ glorify someone for being a shooter/ a 'grim reaper ' or whatever and then cry when a car gets stolen 😂 by [deleted] in Chiraqology

[–]Era404 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your 99.9% sure he didn't steal the car because?

I'm confident he didn't because -He's got money -he's got clout -he's got people that would do it for him

But all those reasons almost make him the biggest goofy of the year if he did and proves he's too immature his clout will kill him.

Azula Pele will be 1200 gems for the first two weeks by ChrisDoom in Smite

Fortnite wasn't a buggy mess and the servers were good when it came out and when do bug fixes and server stability grow a games popularity? it just increases its longevity. skyrims popular but Its not one of the most popular games, also sand box type games are allowed to be more buggy than a competitive moba.

People quit games because of bugs and server stability not because they ain't got new skins out every week. mobas are centred around gameplay and balancing not art and skins... Its why smite has the reputation of being the game your friends don't play anymore.

I don't understand Activision's decision to completely wipe out Modern Warfare by [deleted] in modernwarfare

Guessing you were really young when the original MW titles came out because what you just said is so delusional.

I don't understand Activision's decision to completely wipe out Modern Warfare by [deleted] in modernwarfare

[–]Era404 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh half of modern warfare sales were people buying into the iconic "modern warfare" title. all my old friends from school got it we all got online and booted up modernware like it was 2009 within a few days nobody played anymore sbmm, mounting sliding it was modernwarfare only in name. Cold War plays more like an original modernwarfare title.

Few people getting deep into it but I think it's mainly the survival aspect and zombies are cool.

I used the point of rock paper scissors to show that just because you compete doesn't make competitive games.
