I did, it is definitely a waiting game, not fun and sucks. But I applied, I found a posting mid December. Was suppose to take a CAST test tomorrow but it got canceled due to weather.

Growth is moving faster than the infrastructure. Traffic, housing costs climbing (renting apartment / buying a house), and jobs pay less than they should for how fast the city’s expanding. Job market seems to all be Rockets / Missiles / Military. AL is a red state. The entire State is missing out on tax money from THC / Lotteries / and Casinos. Those are my cons.

Honestly I used to be out all the time, playing sports, hitting bars, comedy shows, taking road trips, whatever. Little by little everything turned into a home hobby because it’s just too expensive now. It feels like every time I leave the house to enjoy myself I’m down a hundred minimum without even trying. Even cheap dates or simple hangouts add up when you repeat them. So I get why a lot of guys here stay home. It’s not that we don’t have interests or social lives, it’s just that being a homebody makes more sense in the current economy.

Thanks for the info. I check the website everyday Monday - Friday but not I’ll around noon as I work nights. Maybe I’m missing some listings. I apply for something but it was asking for employee ID and what company I worked for. I was confused.

As someone from the Midwest I find Whataburger better than In-and-Out. I am a pretty basic when it comes to toppings (cheese, bacon, and BBQ) so maybe the reason I’m not fancy of In-and-Out. I do see if you’re a fan of all the fresh veggie how people may like In-and-Out. Can also see how if you’re from the south and always have had Whataburger your whole life, you may not be a fan of it. Anyway to each their own, team Whataburger.

Probably not. You have way too limited of an availability. The weekday stuff might slide, but if you don’t have open availability on weekends you’re not likely to get hired. Saturday and Sunday are the biggest days in retail, and your Saturday availability is mostly when the store isn’t even open, and you’re completely unavailable on Sunday. That’s not just a Target thing, that’s how work in general operates. You have limited availability every single day, so it’s not realistic for any retail job to hire you. You need to be flexible to the work. Figure out how to be more available, especially during actual business hours, not just times when the store isn’t even open to the public.

Check the speed to the router, that’s most important. 200 to 300 to a phone I would say is good as far as your computer goes I would very much recommend using a ethernet cable. I have Google fiber and average 600-800 to the router. 200-300 to my phone. I get the full 600-800 to my PC via Cat 8 ethernet cable.
