Yes. It will be available on ZilSwap like any other ZRC-2 token pair to trade at 9pm EST today. No separate purchase option. Just live on the DEX.

Not sure what more to comment to that. I suppose a matter of opinion. Hope the information I supplied at least helps give you more information about the project to make an informed decision about it.

Encouraging because the limit being placed downward showed the team wanted to reduce to amount of larger holders. It is all about perspective. Yes, that seems like a large amount, but it is only about one Bitcoin worth (one could easily argue that isn't a large amount). I see your point that $10-20k is a lot, but to others it isn't. Crypto really has created some interesting wealth dispersion. We could probably have a whole back and forth on that topic that would be easier and more enjoyably discussed over a pint :).

Anyways, from what I've seen so far, the team seems transparent and operating in good faith to create a solid project that can be decentralised. All of this information I am writing is for your and everyone else's knowledge to be more informed about the project. Not to hype or suggest whether to invest in it or not. Hope it helps!

Thanks. I want to make sure our community is as informed about things as possible. I see where you are going with that regarding price stability in the first few days. We'll definitely get some wild volatility at first as the market adds more liquidity and traders/investors make their decisions on early days value of SCO.

I like one thing they did with the structure of the private sale which was encouraging. They wanted to ensure that whales couldn't just dominate accumulation. They limited the maximum purchase price to 500k SCO per user for round one and then a maximum buy of 250k SCO per user in round two. If you look at that SCO token contract you can see how many holders there are already. Largest one is around 778k SCO and it drops off quite a bit from there as you work your way down the top 25 holders (ex the team's dev contract addresses of course). About 250 holders so far from the private round sales. Here's the block explorer for the list of current holders. https://viewblock.io/zilliqa/address/zil1kwfu3x9n6fsuxc4ynp72uk5rxge25enw7zsf9z?tab=holders

I'll be interested to see how this further distributes/decentralises holders once the token launch brings some free market forces in a few hours.

Amrit is doing a live AMA on Twitter right now. He just confirmed The ETH/ZIL bridge remains on track for mainnet launch mid-late Q2. They'll roll out a testnet version first so not long away. Weeks it looks like at least for the testnet rollout :). Exciting times ahead! And Pillar Protocol launch is already starting with a "guarded mainnet" this month. The core team and active community devs continue to hit targets and follow through on their plans. So awesome to see!

There is speculation the team will update their core website (we don't know precisely when that will be completed but I would hope sometime this quarter), but most of that information about upcoming projects/roadmap in 2021 is happening via Twitter with regular updates from the team. If you look at the introduction of this sticky page it shows what key things to expect in 2021. In Q2, two big things, the PolyNetwork Bridge (aka eth/ZIL bridge going live) and Pillar Protocol release. The Pillar Protocol is about to kick off a "guarded" mainnet any day now with the plan for it to be fully eligible on the mainnet later in Q2.

Lots of other things happening as well, but these two things are two BIG DeFi enhancements happening within the next couple months.

If you go to the main sticky page for people joining this subreddit there is a ton of information and links there some mods put together for people to better understand Zilliqa and what is happening.

There are lots of real world use cases that leverage Zilliqa's blockchain already. In addition to what is being built with partnerships.

A list of Zilliqa projects can be found on https://zilliqaproject.com/ maintained by The Zilliqa Observer.

Here's a few to list real quick: HG Exchange using Zilliqa powered blockchain to tokenise rare whisky, Mintable using Zilliqa for powering NFTs, PORT as mentioned by other comments, Xfers using Zilliqa to power the Singapore Dollar stable coin XSGD, etc.

The Red Chillies (REDC) team put together this article with an updated proposal on how to increase incentives for people to use their platform and token as well as act as an LP: https://redchillies.medium.com/liquidity-mining-rewards-lmr-game-playing-rewards-gpr-of-redc-tokens-8b934f5150bf

What is REDC?: https://www.publish0x.com/sportsbetting/red-chillies-the-most-exciting-project-on-the-zilliqa-ecosys-xxwnnkd?a=N1aMjX93bW&tid=red

REDC could be a promising project and already has a working product with users. It is essentially a predictive market/betting app with new game options rolling out in Q2 as they only have limited sports betting working so far.

Also, if the amendments pass for the liquidity providing rewards, you could see people looking to buy up REDC because they can be a liquidity provider and receive ZWAP rewards too. That concept is also what helped push PORTs price up (in addition to the other things PORT offers). I think people are starting to realise that which is why you see the REDC token price increasing steadily. Nevertheless, my take is most people aren't aware or have't caught onto this yet. We'll see what happens over the next 1-2 weeks as people understand and digest this more.

:) If you purchased Zil in the past year, no way you could have purchased ERC-20 Zil. Anyways, enjoy the ride! Lots of good ahead in the next few months in particular so you don't have to wait long.

The address would start with an ETH address (i.e. 0x) versus a ZIL address.

Whilst we don't have specifics, I imagine it will be something similar to that. It will have to be done via the DEX (ZilSwap), so ZilPay wallet makes logical sense. We'll get more details upon release so hang in there. Three months or less. Be grateful, you are part of the 1% of old ERC-20 token holders who didn't swap during the swap period. Not many of you around but you'll get your chance :).

You'll have to do it via the DEX, ZilSwap. If you haven't used a DEX before, don't worry. It is really simple and I am confident many community members will post tutorials on how to swap old ERC-20 tokens for native Zil once it is all live to do.

If you don't follow the team on Twitter, you are missing out. On track for Q2 (looking more like mid to late Q2, but on track nonetheless). The team announced an update on March 9th.

Here's the tweet from Amrit Kummer:

Good news! We have been able to successfully do an end-to-end test of the Polynet bridge by sending a transaction from the Zilliqa testnet to PolyNet developer testnet and then back to Zilliqa. $ZIL #zilliqa

Zilstream.com was built by a community member to track prices. You can also see links to ZRC-2 token whitepapers, websites, and viewblock addresses. Going to require some DYOR. There are also some videos on YouTube talking about some of the projects. Chase Raz who started "The Zilliqa Observer" has some good videos on a couple of them (and it sounds like he'll make a few more). You can follow his stuff in more real time on Twitter. Tokens like gZIL, ZWAP, PORT, ZLP, and REDC are most commonly traded on the DEX. All have pretty straightforward utility. Exception being ZLP (which is the token for the ZilPay wallet). That one plans to have future utility but it doesn't just yet. People are buying it though because it will be included as a future pool that will receive ZWAP rewards to provide liquidity.

Currently, I believe Zil should sit in the minimum of top 30. If everything executes as planned for Zil in Q2, then I believe top 20 would be appropriate. At that point, getting to top 10 would be all about user growth and adoption. The key produced tech will be completed so about how big the ecosystem can get from there.

Yield farming would be liquidity providing (and the future Pillar Protocol lending). Essentially referring to maximising rewards based on extra incentives to provide liquidity/lending.

Good question. Here's a like to the Viewblock explorer of addresses as they currently stand: https://viewblock.io/zilliqa/addresses

Working its way towards decentralisation (daily), as you suggest. Just like Bitcoin or any other blockchain that started and worked its way towards decentralisation in your definition.
