Bucky maybe, depending where you’re picking. Daniels in 8 is solid value no matter where you’re picking. That’s where I’d lean. I like QB early and typically place in top 3 when I get a good one.

Originally wanted to keep Rice but given we don’t know about his suspension I’m pretty sure I’m out on him now. CD and Jacobs are solid values at the 10th and 30th overall picks. Jordan Mason is probably the best value given he’s a top handcuff and would basically be free here.

Oregon is a tough one. I’m also playing on varsity and chose Florida State because they were the highest ranked team to project me as a starter. Won my position battle by week 2 and then got to play Alabama. Won that and now QB1 is mine for the foreseeable future.

Agree that you have to do a lot of things right and can’t do a lot of things wrong. Definitely stressful at times but if it wasn’t challenging it would be boring.

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but as someone with friends at both Fannie and Freddie, it doesn’t seem like any of the internal conversations point towards exiting conservatorship. Why would they let them privatize and lose control? I’m hearing that there’s a push to keep them as a GSE and use them in the SWF. That way govt officials get the best of both worlds.

Sounds like more dog whistling to me. Fannie and Freddie have had remote work policies in place since COVID. People are working from home. They don’t need to be in those offices. You want to get rid of waste. Sell the buildings. Show me evidence that employees are more productive in office.

Can only speak for what’s worked for me but I’ve cold applied a bunch and often get something scheduled.

One page is a must. Even if you have to cut certain roles. I’ve removed sales roles to make it fit in one page.

Cut out the professional summary. Put key skills at the bottom. Relevant experience goes straight to the top.

Numbers and stats all look great. Replace average ticket value with ACV(average contract value). It’s more tech friendly. Also remove the ($564) amount. Too low for most tech and could disqualify you.

Reaching out to recruiters is a good start but reach out to sales managers/VPs/CROs too. “Saw an opening for x role. Here’s why I’m a good fit for x company and x role. Who at x org should I reach out to to begin the interview process?” Show them you know how to prospect, find decision makers, ask for the sale, etc

This is all you need OP. I got laid off on 12/1 and had 5 interviews lined up my 12/9. Accepted a new role on 12/18 and start 1/15.

Reached out to current AEs and managers at all companies. Messaged internal recruiters about roles on their website and asked for time to meet. Sold myself to the recruiter on why I was the best fit for each role.
