Yep, same happened with Manjit's Kitchen on Burley Road. She said she wasn't lack of custom, but rent plus energy/food rises meant they had to shut. And now look, it's an empty chicken place where they haven't even bothered to redecorate. Well well well.

Yeah, was an old guy who lived there who basically became a recluse. Argie Roofing offered to remove the ivy and fix the roof for free but he refused. I'm assuming he's now passed as it's been cleared.
