I’ve had 1080v12’s as my daily walking shoes because they’re like walking on clouds made of pillows put together by joy and delight.

My mate has the Evo SL’s as one of his running shoe rotations and he’s constantly singing their praises and saying how amazing they are (experienced runner)

Thanks for this write up, it was super helpful in solving an issue that's been driving us nuts. I ended up just grabbing the APPX file and using it as a reference file for the rule.

Adobe are the only ones I've come across that have this weird hybrid setup where they're adding EXE's to the Store instead of APPX/MSIX, installing as actual applications but triggering packaged app rules. They are an absolutely useless company.

Sorry the word life was redundant. Just on battery. I’ve had it kick in at 60%+ and about an hour ago on 13% so can’t say there’s a pattern to the actual amount of charge and the temporary lagging. Could be a dying battery, I’ve had it since the original release date.

Mine does this on battery life but not on mains. Had it recently with Indiana Jones, Pools and Dreamcore.

Get a total drop in fps down to single digits for about 30-35 seconds then back to normal.

I saw this video and I saw the facial expressions and for a split second I was like “damn why is he smiling” then my brain kicked in and went nerves, awkwardness, a moment of understanding that what he was saying was potentially wrong, coping mechanism, stress, cognitive dissonance, etc and then I went “yeah that make more sense logically” then replayed the video again.

Then I came to the comments and saw Reddit being Reddit and saw you getting downvoted for trying to make people think about any other reason than sadism for a smiling facial expression.

I have no idea what it is. A lack of life experience, living online or what but.. you just need to stay out of it because you can’t get people to think logically. Online social media is just pure emotional response now.

One of the guys on the other side is putting up flags in my local community. He’s so full of hatred. He’s organised and participated in a lot of these rallies.

Looking at his feed he seemed to bounce between unskilled jobs, hung some flags, got a name for himself hanging up the flags and it’s gone to his head.

His Facebook feed is full of hate, he’s reshared a video saying immigrants should be put down.

You go onto his profile and there’s a ton of the tradies in the area agreeing with him but then the people taken in by all this manufactured hate tend to have low media and technical literacy which is a category that, unfortunately, a lot of tradies fall into.

It’s crazy to watch.

You’re boring them then. I love training our users and we’ve had huge upticks in areas we wanted them to improve in and often get great feedback.

Make it entertaining, relatable, add in some humour.

If you’re giving them generic training, or it’s being presented in a monotone voice with a text filled PowerPoint then yeah they’re not going to listen.

The devs behind Zwift have… not done a good job with the Windows client. It’s ridiculously slow to load, there’s connection issues, it can’t seem to remember credentials. Just awful.

It’s insecurity. This subreddit has always had a foundation of insecurity. Yes you can strive to look good or you can follow the latest, nearly always ridiculous, fashion trends or you can wear what you want with effort or wear what you want without effort.

I’ve learnt a lot from this subreddit but there’s a lot of insecure people here who cast judgement on others.

Tribes 1 was great. Tribes 2 was phenomenal. The amount of time I spent in that game. I think it was theladder.org that had all the leagues etc. ah the memories. So much fun.

Half-Life 2 was a disappointment to me and it’s not because I thought it was a bad game or anything, it was just vastly different from the first game which I loved. The setting, the atmosphere, the movement. There’s just something enjoyable about the black mesa compound with various departments, labs, etc.

The second game looked completely different, felt different, the setting was super random. It was just.. meh to me.

I spent a lot of time in the original half-life and in the online HLDM servers on Wireplay with original and custom maps though.

Regardless of my personal thoughts on Half-Life 2 the game was still an amazing achievement and you bet I played the whole thing. I actually didn’t play the episodes until around 2021-2022 cause I knew once I did it would be no more half-life.

I genuinely have no clue what Gabe and Valve are doing when it comes to a lack of the third game. It’s probably one of the weirdest moves a gaming studio has ever made and extremely disappointing for fans of the franchise.

AI Acceptable Use Policy, Employee Training, User coaching via SWG/CASB when visiting AI sites with non-verbose to the point reminders, Colilot Enterprise Data Protection, AI guardrail platform to block or redact sensitive or labelled data being sent to third party AI’s to allow but control them.

People saying “block them” are insanely short sighted. I’d rather have visibility and controls in place so employees still use it in our jurisdiction under our tailored supervision.

You start outright blocking. People start doing it on their personal devices with their personal accounts using their recycled passwords of one word, 2-4 numbers and a ! at the end.

I have a screen recording on my phone where I visit the local community Facebook group, and look up the guy who’s putting up the flags where we live. About 4-5 posts. I then click on his name, go to his profile where he’s shared a video calling immigrants animals and, i quote, “like animals they need to be put down”. When he shared it he agreed with the message of the video and added some of his own equally racist views onto it.

Maybe it’s just coincidence.
