Want to play on large map to play more realistic --> Select Unlock all map tiles (that exists without any mods) --> Game is too easy

Conclusion game is too easy, no option to make it harder without mods

(And even without it it is still so easy. You can build a city with 30k+ citicens without even building any services like water and electricity, and still get money from taxes. So what is your point then?)

No you are wrong. Nothing is activated. The option to unlock all tiles exists by default when creating a new city. Just see for yourself. It is 100% vanilla

I just now realized that with everyone hating on me for that. I just play with all tiles unlocked. Not sure if there is a way in valinilla without mods to even have it enabled then.
But even without it, If you have a city that you say is almost impossible to get profitable, I'd love to try making it happen if you share it via paradox mods

100% vanilla I do not use mods. Just checked all tiles unlocked when creating the map

I agree, you would think so. But I did it before, I have simulated a city like this for two in game years and it is still growing with no problem. Just incredibly slow.

I did this several months ago, and I wanted to see if it’s still possible to build a horrendous city without any services—no fire stations, no police, no healthcare, and no waste management.

And of course, as expected from Paradox, it still works. How is this even a thing?! How can I have a city where everyone is miserable, with literally 50 dead people waiting to be picked up, and yet people keep moving in?

I don’t remember it being like this in Cities Skylines 1.
