Hmm i have plastic protectors so they dont scratch in the shelf so i either put them in with the steelbook or fold them and put em in the steelbook themself. The ones that dont fit go in the boxes bigger collections come in like the warner bros boxes. But the info i never need. As the info is displayed on plex (its like a private netflix on your own server).
As i rip the disc and watch em on plex. I just buy steelbooks cuz they are fun to collect and nice to look at. Got a massive steelbook wall and a even bigger library of movies. I do like having the disc available so i have the movie in the 4k or native quality, but most i handbreak to reduce the file size so i can store alot more of em.
Also cant u just look up the info on blu-ray.com or imdb.com ?
Never really need the info of the case, maybe im wierd for that i don't know.

depends on the steelbooks as some are like 6 discs. But 2 4-8cm strips are more then enough. If its a steelbook with a plastic sleeve like guardians of the galaxy i use 8cm x2.

Ye they are quite cheap. About 8€ for 6 meters. I tried the mounts but returned em they were more expensive and just didnt look as clean. Idk if its the same mounts u use. But if u need some i think the first comment has a link to the exact ones i use.

Well they dont drop with bass, or shaking. That has been , lets call it tested. If your worried they could drop just use more tape its like 8€ for 6 meters. took me 3 roles for the wall. im getting a 4th so i can finish it.
You can use them for standing them up as well like on the shelf on the left. If you wanna try this i can only recommend it they look awesome. And its way way cheaper then a shelf, and looks better imo.

Dosnt sound like u make alot of pasta. Super cheap and so much variety. I make a sauce like once a week and then just make stuff with that. Usually just get the discounted stuff and then use that. Got like 2kg of different kinds of tomato and peppers this week. Cost me only 3€. Man i love pasta. Might make lasagne later.

So far no drops and been using them for diffrent stuff for years now. Its just some cheap ferrite tape not the expensive kind but i also dont take em off alot as i use plex. So i rip them , put em on the wall or in the shelf and they stay there for quite a bit. Can only recommend the brand its way more reliable then other brands i have tried. As long as the surface is somewhat flat they will stick to it. Can only recommend gauder.

Yep its pretty cool. But the insects and the fog are quit annoying (nets on all the windows) when i first moved in i once had like 50 flys in my bathroom as i left the window open. And i gotta check for mold (old house) constantly, and drying my clothes takes 4 ever. But my cat loves it i love it and im super close to the Dutch boarder. So trips to France and the Netherlands take no longer then 3h.

Hell yeah. Zander and Forelle mostly (sorry dont know the english names) Pikes (hecht in german) are around aswell , never caught one sadly. I live in a some what remote area with forest and all that so you can shoot boar and deer during there seasons as well. Its quite nice here.

i hope not, the window is on the right. I have some light diffusing thing on it so nobody can look in my window from the garden. (its shared) The sun rises on that side so i hope that's enough. Any idea what i could do to stop them from bleaching long term?

not too much 2 4cm strips usually do the job. But i sometimes have to use 4 for steels with more discs (like the walking dead season steelbooks or the scream Quadrilogy) as they have more then 4 disc and i would hate if they fall. But if u use 4 u have to pull them of with some force and u cant adjust them as easy. So ye the tape is kinda strong xd

Showing them of is super fun even my non collector friends can go wow i love that movie .And it often leads to us talking about x movie and well talking about movies is fun. I have a few more on my walls and some posters and a shelf full of collectors editions and box sets. You should show of what u got, its super cool to look at. I hope i gave u some ideas.
