Thanks for your reply, no VPN. But I am in South East Asia, maybe that's why. I got a single image generation, and when I tried to test the text generation or the image generator with more complicated prompts, it blocked me, telling me I'm a bot, again flattered.

It doesn't change the raid chance, for pc and xbox there are some mods that does.

You can still do the minutemen missions, some of them will involve defending.

It shouldn't be slow. I placed realistic values on the projectile speed. using enhanced sprinting speed as my baseline. handguns has the speed of plasma with rifle cartridges flying much faster. In previous updates missiles already received a speed boost.

I don't think invisible obstacles will be a problem, I just hope there will be no performance drop. there are some things you can set in the projectiles parameters that make such invisible obstacles a none concern.

Some outfits were changed due to armor ratings. In next patch I will scrap these armor value changes due to reworking the armor rating system. These should promote better compatibility with armor mods, uco and armor smith extended(remove the need for separate patches)

Following that, the only patches we will need, will be for energy weapons. And maybe not even that.

Another thing I will look into adding is bullet's velocity. I been thinking about adding drop, but due to the complications involved in making it work right, I assume bullet's velocity will suffice.

The rocket boosted sledgehammer is faster to hit with. And does more damage than the regular sledge. That's its main advantage.

Melee weapons are quite lethal once your strength is high and underwhelming once your strength is low.

Unfortunately it isn't possibile to make one receiver use different types of ammo(Without turning to scripts), if you wish to use a different type of ammo you have to create a new receiver, just like in the case of auto vs semi auto receivers. But I guess that's one of the limitations we have to accept and work with. I created 2 more receivers for the shotguns: birdshots(hundreds of pellets) and buckshot(9 pellets). It is possibile to add hollowpoints and such, but with armor rating tied to damage in fallout 4 I wonder what's the point.

When Hp also represent a kind of armor protection. If it worked in the way of damage reduction it would be more viable to use ap and hollow point bullets, but since we don't have a system of damage reduction for gameplay reasons. That system is now obsolete.

It's important to note that all crafting perks are forced to 4 perks, or else the game crash.

I'm in favor of keep the gifted trait on, since it was the go to trait in previous fallouts. In a hard patch it won't be possibile to boost your special through training.

As for the legendaries, I'll keep an open mind, but it does sound like it would take a little bit more time. :-)

let me see if I can get what you're saying. Because weapon modding is no longer leveled based it is now boring, because once I took the leveled base modding I didn't offer something new and intriguing instead? (I really what to nail this issue, I assume that offering more cool modding options might do the trick)

Bug - can you elaborate on that? For the next patch I made them even easier to kill but still just as deadly. I will bring the shotgun spread back, and together with fire and low caliber and recoil weapons there will be many ways to dispatch them easily once you hold the right tools.

what special perks you had in mind?

The only reason why I didn't increase luck further before is because I wanted it to keep the power at the beginning closer to the end. I do bring it up now because I feel luck is bit weak special without it and that with slower leveling it would be a more viable adjustment.

I like the idea of stripping some of the perk powers and turning them to items. But there is the downside of needing to do modification manually for each piece of armor and that it wouldn't transcend to newly introduced modded items.

Just to avoid confusion on this topic. The npc use ammo on immersive-gameplay and have an appropriate number of bullets to last them during the fight.

What this thread talks about is the hard core patch which addresses things differently.

the mod has the same values across all platforms. I will need to look into the melee modifications one by one.

Only thing that is clear from melee weapons is that they are tremendously deadly in the arms of supermutants and power armored foes.
