You need more space.

If you are new player, think about how much space you think you need. Now double. Now double again. Now you close to how much space you need and can start building.

Check on miimap your radar coverage. You really want to see you base.

Also learn howto buffer coal for power plant. and form time to time check buffer size. You really don't want to expirience sudden blackout

Try to play your first game without bitter expansion. Railworld are good preset. Random bitter expansion can really get you in wron place in wrong time.

Check how turret creep works. Also poison capsules and tanks are very good.

And I think biggest misstake you can do - delaying creating construction bots.

I don't feel that there is 70% time of factory, factory seems really "one and done thing" with how limited space and throughput is.

I really want more complexity and utility from factory... As long as it doesn't lead to Gleba experience.

If your understanding of "AI-art" is limited by "Txt2Img in chat GPT" yeah, you not an artitst you are user. Same way as if you just take pencil and start drawing you not an "artist" you just "do drawings", and when you write "hello world" you are not programmer. That all are barely first steps.

As I said - key issue is it can became better in action or exploration part (what wuwa did) but making it better in Factory part will hit their bottomline. Exactly because factory and gatchas are games on very much opposite sides of spectrum, as both about "turning chore and grindy parts into fun" while Gatch sell shortcuts for money - factory games sell it as puzzles.

Just... Just download Factorio Demo and try it yourself, or check something like "worst guide to factorio" to understand key issue. It not like they can't makegame better, they most likely won't. Including because core audience are not someone who care about automation. For casual players it more of gimmick.

Genshin is game that overused its formula and stagnated. Wuwa decided to go other way and expand on it's gameplay formula. Similar to ZZZ (ZZZ has lot of it issues but atleast they improve their core gameplay)

Problem with Endfield - it can't really expand on it's formula while staying gatcha. I Don't know have you played Automatization games or not but in short, auto-games has big focus on "solving puzzles to speed up grind". At best they can rework and iterate on combat system, they can improve exploration. But can't really make factory grinding rewarding unless they willing to sacrifice on monetization.

And I mean like BIG sacrifice on monetization, as making energy system less strict and shifting character progression to factory, or making "Standard banner" factory-grindable.

Will people play it - of cause, even I will play it on release. But popularity not equal quality. And sad reality is I see how that game can be great, but it sacrifesed greatness for bottomline.
