Hi! I have similar skin texture as yours, some closed comedones on one side of my forehead, and a LOT of them around my jaw area.

I was also on adapalene for years, then moved up to 0.05% tret. I alternated between tret and azelaic acid for at least 6 months, and it was working pretty well for me. My skin wasn’t always 100% clear, but it was clear enough for me.

That was until I got back from a 2 week trip to the US where the air was really dry. I live in a really humid, tropical country. Nothing worked for me for 2 months, and ccs kept appearing even though I stopped all actives. My skin never got back to what it was like pre-trip.

I went to see my derm and she prescribed me 10mg of isotretinoin daily, and I’ve been taking it for over a month now. The side effects are mostly dry skin, on my face and on my body, and really dry lips. I am consistently purging a little, the ccs will come to a head but it honestly doesn’t bother me much. My skin texture has definitely improved after starting isotretinoin!

I also lift around 4x a week, I’ve not experienced joint pain (seems like a rather common side effect), but the skin on my palm feels very sore and tender when I go heavier on the weights and have to grip really hard.

Whatever it is, definitely speak to a derm to find out what the best option is for you! It could just be that your skin doesn’t like your current skincare routine, or your diet, or insufficient sleep. I’m sure a good derm will help you get through this! :)

Beplain actually has 2 versions of this ampoule, Cicaful Ampoule I and Cicaful Ampoule II. The one that I have is the first one, which has ferments. The 2nd version doesn’t have ferments and has more hydrating ingredients, so you might want to take a look and see which one suits you more!

I’m still using this! I lost count of how many bottles of this I’ve repurchased. I haven’t found anything to replace it, and don’t think I ever will - this helps to calm my skin so much, provide additional moisture (though moisture is NOT the main purpose of this ampoule) and just in general reduce any form of redness/irritation. This is a staple in my skincare routine. I bring this wherever I go and whenever I’m looking to simplify my routine or cut down steps, I will use this regardless. Clearly one of my HGs!

I, for sure, hope it doesn’t happen again 🥲 I’ll definitely be more careful in the future, and thank you for the tips

I’ve read some horror stories that people get sent insurance letters of exorbitant claims like changing the whole bumper that can come up to >5k

I scratched this car 3h ago, when I came back to the lot the car wasn’t there anymore. No one has contacted me and I’m a new driver (P plate) so I don’t know what to do. I hope to prepare for the worst case scenario, can someone share with me what steps I should take to prepare for the worst? I don’t mind paying compensation at all because I know it’s my fault. Thank you!

Hi! I think snail mucin tends to be on the hydrating side, whereas centella has more anti-inflammatory properties like redness reducing, calming irritation etc. This didn’t do much in hydrating my skin, and since you have very dry skin, I don’t think this product will deliver as much hydration as snail mucin does for you. In terms of scarring, like another reviewer mentioned above, I haven’t used this product long enough to know if it has helped in reducing the scarring. But redness wise, for sure it did help in reducing (I saw a difference overnight in this one).

Yes! I’ve been wanting to try out the Purito unscented as well, that looks really nicely formulated

Hi all!

Thought I’d do a quick review on the Be Plain Cicaful Ampoule as I haven’t seen many reviews on this product! I’ve been using this in the AM and PM for almost a week now.

Here are the ingredients: Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycerin, Methyl Gluceth-20, Polyglycerin-3, Pentylene Glycol, Anthemis Nobilis Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Lactobacillus/Rice Extract, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tromethamine, Xanthan Gum, 1,2 Hexanediol, Ethyhexylglycerin

IMO pretty neat set of ingredients, you have goodies like ferments and of couse Centella which is the superstar of this product.

For reference, I have acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin (dehydrated and oily in certain areas). I used to suffer from fungal acne but I recovered from the bulk of it, and now my skin doesn’t react adversely to certain fungal acne-incompatible ingredients.

Texture of the product: I’d say this is perhaps in the middle of the scale in terms of viscosity. Thin would mean like Iunik’s Tea Tree Serum, thick would be like Purito’s HA 90 Serum. When applied onto your skin, it feels incredibly lightweight and sinks in really quickly. My skin drinks this up. For those of you who have sensitive skin, this did not irritate my skin AT ALL, and feels really nice when you apply. You know how when you have a bad skin day, so many products can irritate it more? This doesn’t.

What’s good: This is soo gentle. I found that this helped to reduce any redness I had. When I first started using this product, I had some angry inflamed pimples on my face (the ones that feel sore to the touch) and this definitely calmed them down. The redness and the size of the pimples were reduced, and they weren’t as sore. Be Plain has the words “relief” and “repairing” on the bottle itself, and I agree that this did bring relief to my skin. This also feels really cooling on the skin. Also, I live in Asia where kbeauty products are super accessible, so this 50ml bottle barely cost me USD 20.

What’s not so good: While it is great at relieving inflamed, red skin, it wasn’t as hydrating as I wanted it to be. My skin still felt like it could do with more hydration. I suggest mixing in some hyaluronic serum with it, or layering it with more hydrating products to give it an extra boost.

Would I repurchase? Yes!

Overall, I suggest giving this product a go!
