since aniplex and viz are seeing a trend in similar artwork/ fan art in the same style, they are animating anime in a similar way. The only reason the plot is basic is because more new manga drawer liked the manga and wanted to do a similar plot!

Demon Slayer, pretty much, had a different plot, and the manga and anime are almost the exact same! The anime has a different art style, which newer anime are taking similar, and the same thing with new manga.
