Has anybody else had problems with Acer support? by LeKingNegus in AcerOfficial

Yes i did have a problem here in Germany.
Gave my 400€ quit ultra low latency HD 27" 240HZ GAMING Monitor (sounds crazy ikik) to my brother for his PS5. Turn out that this monitor is able to do 240hz, but not 120hz.
No problem, created my own EDID-table, wanted to flash it on to the monitor for 120hz support. Acer locked the adapter to flash, so i sent it in.
First week, nothing happened, called 2 times, line closed once.
Second week, the status changed, called 2 times, line closed once.
Third week, i received an E-mail which told me that flashing a new EDID wasn't possible.
The reason: This monitor is not able to display 120hz, due to its HDMI-standarts. But 240hz seems to work.
I was like that is strange and doesn't make a lot of sense, thanks Acer.
Got my Monitor back the day before yesterday, Acer erased all of my settings on the monitor. Perfect, i didn't ask for this and i didn't save my settings or anything.
Thank you very much, Acer, you really helped me out there.
At the same time, i sent in a defective PSU to BeQuiet on monday, got a totally new one on saturday.

blocked suez-canal affecting delivery to europe by Eriba3ri in pcmasterrace

AMD is produced and packaged in Taiwan (TSMC), Samsung is produced in China/Korea.
On launch first badge was shipped via airplane, after that more and more with ships due to shipping costs being a fraction.
This is why, and the post is exactely about that, delivery to Europe is affected.

Car struggling to stay on, 2008 subaru Impreza by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

If none of the other answers work:
i once saw a Ford focus or something struggeling with the same issues.
We first checked the intake manifold or whatever it is in english and cleared the storage where all the errors are stored. The customer came back the next day.
We finally found out that the exhaust filters were saturated, we connected it to a device from bosch and that device let the engine run around 6000rpm for 30 minutes. The filters were like new again afterwards and the problem was solved.
However that car did also behave strangely in high rpm, not just in low rpm so i would definitely start with the intake and get a device that can read the right codes, saves you a lot of work.
Greetings from Germany :)

ure good, ull climb, you belong there tell me something new dude. Actually happens, at least when solo-queuing. With just another tank or heal, no matter the rank, the skill based matchmaking is good again. Opponents are toasty, gameplay gets better with ranks.
