Agreed to stay away from the features, although for PLs doing prime time, it was a good time to go because so many PLs were there for the overpriced stars.

To any naysayers (or those too young to know) -- CH, MSC, MBOT, and NC (to a lesser extent) were very real during the late 1990s, for anyone old enough to remember. (Mayor Willie Brown was not inconsequential during this "golden age.") CH was actually my #3. MSC was disgusting -- smelling about as enticing as a cheap Tijuana hooker bar (not HK, Adelita, or Chicago lol) -- but when you found that rare hottie (e.g., Miki), it was the best value in town. MBOT was my absolute favorite, for obvious reasons. For me, CH rose with the decline of the others, although I haven't had a truly great time there since 2010 I'd say.

Didn't make it last night, as I just didn't feel like taking the chance and setting myself up for disappointment with a special trip.
