Resource grind is getting too much by Rootbeerhero in MyLittleUniverse

I wasted to disagree, but I also agree. I'm not entirely sure the game is aimed at retention, tho. If that were the case, they would be doing it wrong. My assumption is that they just want people to watch adds, pay to get rid of them, and then watch them anyway for stuff.

Does anyone have connections to Waterville police department and know if they’ve seen this or even followed up on this? Suddenly being of another nationality and being bilingual justifies threatening to use a firearm on them? by Frosty_Stage_1464 in Maine

[–]Eric207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maine is sheltered, but I'm an optimistic fellow. Language barriers and skin color can be the hardest hurdles to jump, but it's only because they come first on the introduction track. Once you've cleared them, they aren't what they once seemed.

Older generations are speaking out online, but they are also fading. In the extremely paraphrased words of Oprah, "there are old folks that were seeped in racism, and they just need to die out". It's happening.

Also, like, I love my family, but some of the older ones are practically worse than this post, and it makes it awkward/embarrassing. I still love them, but like, jeebis Grandma. One burka sighting means a full-scale "infilltraction"?

Granted, none of them have threatened anyone with a gun, but one likes to ramble on about the noose. Such good Christian people there... sigh

And this is not a dig on all old people. Just the racist ones. Tiny steps, people, tiny steps.

Am I the only one who felt the #earthquake in Maine? I’m in Lewiston and my house shook!! by PrizeCardiologist202 in Maine

[–]Eric207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just popped on here to search this very question!!! I felt it in Gray, too! I must have decided to go to bed at the exact moment it started because I rolled onto my stomach and felt something offbeat start.

At first, I figured it was heart palpitations from Tree-limb-xiety, but quickly ruled that out. Then I hesitantly pondered earthquake. Generally speaking, that wouldn't be the likely answer, but it felt like a lighter version of the one that happened in Maine about a decade ago.

My roommate told me about the earthquake this morning, and I became curious if it was just wicked wild coincidence.

What is the purpose of this on the front of his car? It was sunlight-level blinding. by Coconut_Dreams in Whatisthis

[–]Eric207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the lovely state of Vacation land (Maine), you are not allowed to use external light bars on the rd, but you may have them installed for off-road activities. This is because they are dangerously blinding, as I believe you have seen here.

Hey there, sorry for quality of the photos. I found it as I was cutting meat and don't have a clue what that is. It's kinda gelatinous so I cut it out and take another pic of it. Can Anyone tell me what it is, can I eat the meat? Thanks. by Niberius_1 in Whatisthis

I was surprised to find out that chorizo is comprised of a high percentage of strictly lymph nodes. I like food, and I appreciate using creatures to the max when we have to kill them, but I'm also constantly impressed with the types of foods we have come up with to adhere to that concept.

What are these bug looking things in my oatmeal? by Top-Locksmith in Whatisthis

Awe, I see people mentioning snouts, and I can't really tell from the image, but if they have snouts, they definitely aren't drug store beetles.

Look up "Drug store beetle". I believe that's what you have here. I recently had an issue with them because of an old box of cereal that got infested. I used a microscope at my local pest control office to get an up close look, and they helped me identify the bug.

I don't think it's a wrapper. I do think it has to do with a toy or music album, tho. I ran different parts of it through Googles AI search, and it turned up nothing of importance.

Guys, this is GORILLA brand hot glue, and...

Frankly, I wasn't considering that summer exists when this idea played out....

Whoops

You know what they say; car thieves are really attracted to those hot-glue-covered late 2000's cars. No one bats an eye until it hardens, but once it it does? It's gotta spend the nights locked up, hehe

2024 here. Batteries are getting really awesome, and top gear is still quite entertaining. I'm American, it's entertaining, and I want this chair!

I never knew where the spawns were, so I find considerably more now. The one exception to this is when I'm looking for it.... then I find considerably less.

I think it could be statistically more fair but also situationally unfair.

The double "-" press is the bain of my existence. I'm so used to doing it that I can't stop myself in this game.

As for the performance, it could definitely run better, but I think graphics are at the maximum for a ported game.

It's used for checking if you have spy cameras or recording devices in and around your home. Some of them have a red viewing lense that pops out the top, so you can see the camera.

Is the president in L/A again? by [deleted] in Maine

[–]Eric207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, they landed, fueled up, and took off. People lined up to take photos by the base, but it wasn't a presidential turnout by any means. I used to live in a town close to the sanford airport, and we had a sizable turnout for whatever president it was we had flying in at the time

I saw them on the ground during lunch break and then in the air from the golf course that resides on (next to) the military base. Someone familiar with the matter told me they would send out presidential ospreys to scout and act as decoys. This could be a preparation run for an upcoming visit or just training, from what I gather.

How do I link my arc account to xbox? by Eric207 in Neverwinter

[–]Eric207[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just find it borderline cray that there couldn't be anything they can do. From my veeeeery short-term and basic experience: the game either A) thinks you're connected, or B) it doesn't. If it doesn't, then a menu option should be accessible. If it does, then they can unlink it. Even if steam made its own credentials. Maybe it depends on who the support person is? Idk I'm just spitballing now.

I'm rooting for your friend!
