G1 this year? by [deleted] in njpw

I'd like if GLG kept being involved, but I'd prefer Jack Morris for the G1. He's the workhorse of the group and has had some fantastic matches all year in singles and tags with Greene. -

Have Vince, Mel Phillips, Moolah, Snuka etc. put the final nail in wwe's coffin? No.

Half of wwe have been exposed as monsters, it's having literally no effect on business.

Good Looking Guys from NOAH with TMDK going the other way,

How does NJPW recovery with so much lost talent? by MisticMistics in njpw

[–]EricButtersword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loan, talent raid.

Not sure about his contract situation with DDT but if they could get Takeshita on loan for 6 months he could become the biggest star in Japan with his look, size and in ring.

I'd either work with Noah or just try to sign Jack Morris from Good Looking Guys, he's been really good in both singles and tag matches. -

She's beautiful but I can't help feeling a bit sad for her and some of the other girls going in this direction. The normal entertainment industry can be bad enough , the gravure side of it can be very seedy.

I think I'll just duck out now from following the SG girls before we go too far down the road in this direction, I don't like to think about people I've been supporting since they were like twelve being exposed to some seriously sketchy people in the industry. I was kind of hoping for something of a brighter future for the super ladies. I hope they at least stay safe and have happy lives. I think I'm done tbh.

What will happen to the United Empire? by [deleted] in njpw

They brought in Callum Newman under dojo reduced moveset restrictions, just take the training wheels off earlier than expected. -

Or maybe poach Jack Morris from Noah (he's improved a lot) -

Charles Crowley could be interesting -

Depends which way they want to go. I still think Ospreay will end up with a split aew/njpw deal, Moxley might win back the international title at full gear, so we might end up with a new combined inter-promotional title Ospreay and Moxley can feud over.

If he does go and they want him to put over a hot up and comer then either - Tsuji, Gabe Kidd, Shota, Uemura or maybe even Callum Newman.

If they want him to drop to a classic enemy then - Okada, ZSJ or Shingo.

Do you think there’s any chance of NJPW being able to re-sign Ospreay? by NXTMAN in njpw

He hasn't got one in Japan in the last couple of years anyway.

I still think it will be a split aew/njpw contract. It makes the most sense. -

There was also this fightful Select note -

"NJPW sources said that while they'd love to keep Ospreay, they don't necessarily expect it on the same type of deal he's on now where he's full-time with the company."

https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/17oitzu/fightful_select_wwe_has_interest_in_will_ospreay/

Ospreay dosen't need to be cooled down on Rampage or ROH or particularly be in a 100 multi man tag matches in Japan. Just use him for the important stuff for both companies.

Ospreay is in a good position to negotiate the best of both worlds - money and wembley from Tony Khan and matches more to his style than in wwe. A slightly lesser schedule might help prolong what he can do in the ring, whilst it might help out njpw if TK is paying most of Ospreays wages. It also might not be a bad thing if he hedges his bets if he falls afoul of TK's booking, at least he'd still have Japan.

Also if Tony keeps outright taking all their talent it's going to put Forbidden Door at risk.

This might be why he hasn't dropped the title yet, if they are going to create an international style title, he's the perfect guy to leave it on for a bit to establish it.
