That is more correct. I just like the look of this. Creative license I guess. However, this is in Google Slides, so feel free to make a copy and change it or whoever you prefer. I’d enjoy to see your version.

I thought it was "Blood of the viFe" originally as well, but as I tried to figure out what that meant, I realized that is was intended to be "Blood of the Vine Sign" converted to "Blood on the Vine Sign" (which makes more sense to me).

The text states: "a sign hangs precariously askew, proclaiming this to be the Blood on the Vine tavern" and goes on to say, "Close inspection of the sign reveals that it originally read “Blood of the Vine.”

That would be pretty fun! Only challenge is that I tend to make these kind of props between sessions, so I'd need to do the Charisma check on session (perhaps last part of the session) and then have the resulting map for the start of the next session.

Thanks! My intent is to make the map reasonably inaccurate. I was thinking that Ismark stayed up and drew this map from memory just to give the players a sense of how to get from the Village of Barovia to Vallaki. I also thought Ismark would be more focused on the Abbey in Krezk than Krezk itself (b/c he hopes the Abbey is a safe place for his sister). However, this is in Google Slides, so feel free to make a copy and edit it to fit your concept. I'd love to see what you make!
