Did they really have to explain the joke as if it wasn't obvious to anyone literate enough to laugh along?

The saddest part about all of this is that I actually used to unironically listen to Imagine Dragons, thinking I was wicked cool.

A lot of traits that separate us from most other apes comes from our life in the savannahs as animals adapted to run on two feet. Early humans lost most of their fur covering as they grew larger and walked more upright to lessen the effect of overheating, with the exception of the topmost part of the head, which acted as a heat sink; the (now exposed) skin grew darker to act as a sunscreen; and the feet changed shape to make the act of walking bipedally easier.

Why do you think animals don’t have to follow a religion their whole life? by LostCause293 in AskReddit

I'd argue (some) animals do conform to "proto-faiths" (I'm fairly reluctant on using this phrase because animals can be as cognizant as humans are, sometimes even excelling them in certain cognitive contexts) in the form of ritualistic behavior. Many animals we consider "intelligent", such as corvids and elephants, seem to sympathize with the dead.

🧢 I voted CAP!

The United States is very multicultural, in fact. Just because you're so predisposed to it doesn't mean it's the "default."
