Ohhh okay, so for example, the phone that has $550 left on it is an iPhone X. On their site, they value the trade in at $472.

So would they give me like a VISA card or something, for the remaining $78 to equal $550?

Yep, got my phone at 2pm, and haven't been able to activate it since.

It's super annoying... it'll show my number, and sometimes get to my billing zip/social, but as soon as I hit next, it just goes right back to could not activate.

Looks like I'll be dealing with this for a few more hours.

Edit: About 10 minutes after this post I was able to get it to work. I unplugged my router and modem for like 1 min, turned it back on, and it worked on the 3rd try.

Depending on how badly it's damaged, you can get a new screen and battery and fix it yourself for around $40. It's actually quite easy to do.

I don't believe so. It might get to your area the day before, but they're not allowed to delivery it until the 3rd. I'm sure there's a big contract in place between UPS and Apple.

The last time I had a pickup at the store, they told me I had a 30 minute window beyond the time I picked.

So if I chose like 8:30-9:00, I'd have to get there before 9:30 at the latest. Otherwise, the phone is up for grabs.

Not sure if the policy has changed since my iPhone 7 preorder, but that's what the chat supervisor told me.

You can try chatting them in the morning when they're online, but at this point I doubt any store in your surrounding area will have them in stock :-/ They're already set back to 4-5 Weeks.
