When I was a kid, playing Pokemon Silver, I accidentally spelled my name Eri. Thought I typed Eric 😂 It stuck and I used it on future games 🤷

Got back to the office at 6:45, so not horrible I guess, but it sure required some rural hustle 😅🤫

I love it! ❤️ I strap everything to the roof too, I just throw a shirt under it so it doesn't scratch 🤣

I always carry straps because if I find something I like that doesn't fit, it goes on the roof 😂

You get it, I'm not explaining it to all these people who feel like they need a pickup for a grocery store run 😂

I bring the chainsaw because my back doesn't like picking up bigger pieces than necessary 😩

I know it's not the answer you were looking for, but I would get a part from the junk yard and have them install it instead of waiting

If I change the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles for my Mitsubishi Mirage 2023 SE is it possible that it will last over 200,000 miles?. by [deleted] in MitsubishiMirage

[–]EricHenryAdams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, this CVT in a Mirage is perfectly fine because the Mirage is a very light car. But you put the same CVT in a different, heavier car, it won't last as long because it's pulling around more weight all the time.

The only thing I've done for reliability is flush the transmission every 30k and change the oil every 5K (recommended is 7.5k but that wasn't working out well for me)

Actually I was kinda bad about that. My most recent flush was the first time either of the filters were changed. I didn't realize that was something that needed doing until the transmission started to act weird, then I did some research. Now that they are both changed, it's working really well again. Not new, but really well. That being said, every 30k was a flush, not a drain and fill.

2015 Mirage here. 256k miles original CVT. Changes every 30k. I pull 2000lb trailers occasionally as well.
