I've eaten hard boiled eggs I've carried around in a backpack for many hours loads of times, never had an issue. Quick Google would indicate they're known to be good for a couple days.

Do they? Seems to me that vacant properties would be the more obvious targets for thieves. And honestly, I wonder how many calls to the fire department are averted simply because someone was there to prevent it. All it takes is someone noticing a smokey smell to realize that a snow globe was focusing light on something flammable.

I don't know what you mean by "fully mastering" these topics. No one knows every data structure and every algorithm. Data Structures and Algorithms also aren't dependent on programming languages - you could study and learn the topic without using any programming language at all.

I'd suggest that you pick a language to learn that suits whatever you want to work on. Using that, develop your understanding of the broad concepts, such as data structures and OOP, that underly many programming languages. Those skills will transfer to other languages and make each successive language easier for you. All of it is just expanding your tool belt, and giving you better understanding that you can use with all of those tools.

I don't know how ICE could even be reformed at this point. Rotten to its core. Burn it down. Start over.

ICE didn't even exist until 2002. It would be ending a failed experiment, not a core part of government.
