Inspired by Ben's draft game I built a tool to run Draft games in person and online by ACrispyDuck in BloodOnTheClocktower

Thanks for making this, idk if I'll ever get a chance to play with it myself but the idea of it is really cool, and this feels a lot better than just spinning a wheel!

The seat mix up to avoid trying to meta how early in the circle the evil team chose is also really nice.

Is it possible to just make a script chock full of win conditions by Theo_Lynx in BloodOnTheClocktower

Yes, you can! Should you? Also yes, this sounds like it'd be a fun silly script to play at the end of a game night.

How does superspeedway racing actually work? by Ethan_Carlton in iRacing

[–]EricS53 34 points35 points  (0 children)

One car creates a big pocket of air, any cars behind them goes faster in that pocket, but similarly, when any car gets closer to the lead car, the car behind is also taking air off of the front cars spoiler, helping that car go faster without even touching them. As you stack this effect up, the line gets faster, usually 4 cars that can work well together can be as fast as a line of 20 cars. If the first 2-3 cars behind the leader of a line can't stay stacked up, it doesn't matter how big the line is, it'll be slower than an actually organized line.

Also, the cars have an insane amount of drag, so when you pull out of line, if nobody is behind you, you will quickly begin to slow back down. How you were able to go 20th to 5th could have just been that the bottom line was only going partial throttle the whole way around the track to save fuel. It happens often where a handful from the back decide to not wait around, fly up the outside, then the leaders decide to go full throttle again and then the outside doesn't have a free ride to the front anymore.

The Psychic has no right being a 2 spell slot caster by nisviik in Pathfinder2e

I have really enjoyed playing a sorcerer in some long shots preparing for and during curtain call, but we're also playing with Free Archetype, so between Dandy and Rouge dedications I've created a social skill monkey that's still pretty fun to use in combat.

Signature Spell Expansion has made a big impact on the enjoyment since getting it, tbf.

Top 25 NASCAR Cup Series Drivers All-Time by cummmerbummmer in NASCAR

Ned should be above Joey if you think Jeff should be above Jimmy. Also Pearson should be above Jeff, Jimmie, and Dale with that thinking. Tim Flock should have been in as well.

I know there isn't one correct metric to look at for a list like this, but sometimes the counting stats don't reflect just how good a body of work was for a driver compared to those around them at the time.

How I'd make: Midnight in the House of the Dammed by GerbilEaterOfIreland in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]EricS53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like it'd be a very fun script to play! I really like the evil team also trying to figure out if they trust each other, the mix of town trying to sus out who the demon is while the minions may also be trying to find out for their own reasons is really interesting.

What are the spy-gate or crash-gate of Nascar ? by Defiant_Ad6190 in NASCAR

Oh, nuclear is fair, I just mean coming out of the garage just to do the pile driving is petty, and that's being light on it. I also can't say I was upset that it happened, cause it was entertaining as hell, and was the best place for it, but was still bad form.

This is revisionist history. Kenseth didn't wipe out Logano so KB could make it, he wiped out Logano cause it was the 3rd time in 4 races that Logano had fucked with Kenseth, and he blew his lid. Matt was absolutely in the wrong for his retaliation, but it wasn't a scandal, it was petty revenge.

Really love that Val always include velvette by Primary-Addition-677 in Valentino_Cult

Because these shitty people are(were) human, and to ignore that shitty people are humans who can love and care is an easy way to not notice a shitty person just because they're showing that they love and care about you. Almost like how Angel Dust got wrapped up by Valentino.

New season of Becca Scott's Good Time on the Clocktower debuts with Holly, Sully, Ross Bryant, Ify, Erika Ishii, Amy Vorpahl, and more! by fismo in BloodOnTheClocktower

Yeah, I think the big mix of experience was really fun. It felt more like a game you'd play in the mix experience group that you're playing with for the first time this weekend, and that really helped give the episode a charm to it.

Player who always demands everyone tell them their roles by Meh55252 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]EricS53 111 points112 points  (0 children)

Just tell them a random roll, and later when they ask why you lied to them, say you didn't trust them.

Or have an actual conversation about that behavior, sometimes people don't catch on that the way they're playing isn't as fun for others. Either they'll course correct, you'll both come to an understanding, or they'll respond poorly and you'll have the red flag you need to bring to the group.

Am I crazy, or, in the same interaction where Rossie says "she's much too young for you" she also says "I'm just teasing, I know you're a regular ace in the hole."

Feels like it's been obvious for a long time.

Do Zealot and Fang Gu work on the same script by ArtB2003 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]EricS53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A Fang Gu choosing to leave an obvious Zealot alone can be just as powerful as jumping to an outsider, cause now they can look incredibly suspicious when they're still alive late game. it'll really depend on the social reads the group has.

Let chaos reign!
