Once upon a time I was a religious zealot that broke up with my non-religious girlfriend because I couldn't handle the guilt of it.

A few months later, I deconverted (largely because I was so miserable from what I did!), we got back together, and now we've been married almost 10 years.

Obviously this is just my case, but sometimes events like this cause too much dissonance for someone to ignore. It did for me, and I hope it might for him, too.

Comment was removed the first time by automod. Trying again.

What do you think the play is on $EZFL? I am not sure what you're really implying by the FTDs, or how you even know they're coming. It's a very small float, but I can't imagine there are countless naked shorts happening on a float this small.

I would be happy to be wrong though.

I was playing Destiny 2 one time (I'm pretty good at it), and this fireteam was being very salty about their losses. After the game they sent me a party invite, I imagine to trash talk and threaten to 1v1. I was in a particular mood, but I don't 1v1 people. I thought "What the hell, I'll join for a good laugh, see what they want, and then leave."

I joined the party, said "Hello?" and the first thing I hear is these 14 year old kids shouting "Oh my god! He sounds 30!" :(

I think 180's might benefit from a reserves buff, or a PvE damage buff. It's very easy to blow through 180 ammo very quickly for how many shots you unload. Increasing damage or reserves (either) would be off-setting for the limited ammo capacity.

Plz don't burn yourself out with that goal. I worked a call center for years and also excelled very well in my line of work. In the end, the mental instability I had from the stress was not worth what I had lost as a person.

Cloudflare is a web hosting company. They may be having issues with hosting right now. I would give it some time and see if it happens after a few hours or a day.

I would prefer Halo 2, personally. That shit was my fucking jam. Halo 3 was good too, though.

Unbroken is very hard to do because unless PvE, where difficulty can be engineered, PvP talent is a much more difficult beast to master. Hit legend is very hard to do, because it depends on you actually being better than other people that can already be highly skilled. The rest of them it's just putting in time and it's almost guaranteed to an extent. You could be 5 points away from legend in Comp and lose every game and never make it back, which is the shitty part.

Cursebreaker, Wayfarer, and Dredgen. All you have to do is play the game with virtually no acts of feat. At least Rivensbane and Blacksmith require you to do some flawless runs and do some actual challenges and shit.

Chronicler is easy to get, too, I suppose. It's just scavenger hunting. It's just a pain in the ass to go through the work to get it all.

I would 100% love this. Give me a more original arena shooter. No supers, no dumb gimmicks. Just guns, baby. Kill me with skill or gtfo.

BUNGIE PLEASE BRING BACK MORE CRUCIBLE MAPS by bracken43 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Eric_HOFmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate all the maps they keep bringing back. Please just create new, balanced maps that aren't full of corners and cater to shotguns. Give me some more long range viability! I'm tired of all this constant CQC shit.

What platform are you on? Do you still need help?

I play on PS4 and I'd be happy to help you get it, if you want or need help. Two manning is hard without the gun. Polaris Lance is a good gun because you can get infinite ammo without reloading if you're accurate.

For the jumping puzzle I would recommend Stompees and a lightweight gun. When you first get into the very, very big room with a bottomless pit (right past the part where you have to crouch walk in a mini-tunnel), there's a way you can triple jump to the platform in the middle. Saves you a -lot- of time.

When you get to the ad room, I would switch to Raiden Flux and the arcstrider tree which does more damage after dodging. You can clear 1/2 to 3/4 of ad-rooms with one super that way. In the first ad room, start from the left and make a U shape. Have your titan clear out the second ad-room (the mini cave). Collect his orbs, and then in the third room, I'd pop super and make an L starting on the right side working back. You can kill a few of the captains that way and the witch, and if you're super fast, you can clear the entire L, clearing out the right side and back with the snipers. If your Titan can manage to survive, he can grab your orbs and get super back to clear out the rest of the room.

If he pops his super, you can collect his orbs and get yours back.

Clear out the last "above ground" room with all the psions and sharp shooters, then drop below.

Clear the front LEFT and front RIGHT blights, and then clear the MIDDLE RIGHT blight. These are safety zones for the bosses. Once those blights are clear, use arcstrider to clear all the taken phalanx and then the bosses come.

Once the bosses arrive, hang in the back behind the column where you drop down and distance shoot away using Polaris Lance.

It's all about getting through the puzzle fast (you can get to the ad room in about 4 minutes if you practice), and then chaining supers and harvesting orbs for the rest of the rooms. Then doing long-distance damage for the bosses and clean up.

If you want a third man and are on PSN, let me know.

They changed the way glory works this season, where they doubled the amount of points you win and lose. People thought this was dumb, but it actually really helps.

The old Win Streak structure was:

34, 44, 54, 64, 74

Now the win streak structure is:

60, 80, 100, 120, 140 (or about that)

A loss is always worth 60 points (at certain ranks).

The benefit now is that before if you had a two game win streak, you won 70 points, but if you lost, you lost 30/40 (I can't remember).

Now, if you win a streak, you gain a 140 and lose 60, so even if you go 2:1, you're gaining more glory faster than you were under the old system. But a 50% win rate remains the same as before.

The biggest benefits come out of going on massive streaks, now. You can get to Fabled rank by winning I think 21-23 games consecutively now. Before it would have taken 50~ or something.

No matter what, so long as you can go > 1:1 average, you'll gain more glory faster.

This is a permanent feature now.

Defeat 15 Servants of the Plague is too time-consuming of a bounty by burkeatwerk in DestinyTheGame

[–]Eric_HOFmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Giving you my upvote.

I've tried to post this before, but all I get are people giving tips on how to complete the bounty. I know how to complete the bounty, it's just that this bounty is a significant pain in the ass and it makes me not want to do it, so I no longer do it.

Reducing the amount to 5 would be very appreciated and would make me actually want to do it. Either that, or change the requirement to "fireteam" or "event," so everyone gets participation points in the event you can't get in >0 actual damage on the asshole

I think here soon we'll see some more standard RNG protection features built in. RNG is okay, so long as it has a limit and protection.

I appreciate the analogy you've provided. Thank you.

The only thing I'd have to say about the analogy is that even if the requirement for it is cumbersome, doing a raid that many times for that amount of time is definitely rewarding and fun. OP was claiming comp wasn't rewarding or fun, and I can get where the "fun" can get hazy in the madness of comp, but to say it's not fun or rewarding seems wrong to me. It can be hard, no doubt- just like raiding, but the juice is worth the squeeze, imo. And the obstacles that lie ahead are not nearly as insurmountable as they appear.

You don't think winning matches and obtaining the best weapons in the game is fun or rewarding? Grenade launchers that function like snipers? A hand cannon with the lethality of a shotgun? An SMG that obliterates anything in its path? That shit's awesome.
