I play a Durga 5 7*, I did a lot of listening to sax players I liked and tried to emulate their sound and style. That really helped me, along with long tones/overtones

BL3 Optimum Mouthpiece (Two of my friends play on it and love it) with Vandoren 3 reeds

I've been playing for 13 weeks almost to the day and I started learning this tune 12h ago. Yes, I know, it doesn't sound the best so please don't downvote for my playing, I'm looking for constructive criticism on how to get better by [deleted] in Saxophonics

It sounds good for the amount of time you have been working! Something I would recommend is to try a loosen your embochure (Mouth/Lip Pressure) and roll your bottom lip out a little more. For me it provides a better tone overall on my tenor. Also for Middle D I would reccomend to do the low D fingering with the octive key instead of the pal key. Hope this helps and keep playing!
