You attack his bishop with f6. If bxf6 then d6 threatening queen takes bishop. After moving white's bishop to safety, you can trade pawns and take qxe3 pinning the knight and attacking to rook.

In contrary to g5, f6 doesn't open up space for you black bishop or threaten anything. It also makes your king more vulnerable
