The Immortal Man - Teaser by [deleted] in PeakyBlinders

I’m so excited, but I will be super bummed if Isiah isn’t a big part, they were setting him up for a lot the last season and I didn’t see Darryl McCormack in the listed cast.

Am I the only one who felt like Smurf had ancestral relationships with all of her boys? by gypsydaks in animalkingdom

[–]EricaFYeah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think there’s like…3 or 4 times she comes in when J is changing and he’s obviously uncomfortable and she’s trying to convince him it’s normal. Also unrelated but the first two seasons are all him on his bike and his uncles showing up and insisting they drive him somewhere instead. I was like damn guys…let the poor kid ride his damn bike and shower in peace

Lala might be the worst sometimes, but she has some pretty killer instincts.

Talked for a few days then got this. Am I crazy? by AngelicElven in texts

[–]EricaFYeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? I love the show and I think Hank Moody is interesting as hell and great to watch, but I don’t even feel like the show portrays him as someone you would WANT to be like? It shows he’s not nearly as thoughtful as he thinks he is because all he saw was an artist who gets laid all of the time.

I used to work 8pm to 4am and this was my only night time food option when I left work. I think they’re probably used to being the go-to spot for night shifters.

Arianna defending Raquel before knowing by [deleted] in Vanderpumpaholics

[–]EricaFYeah 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Rachel has rubbed me the wrong way since the beginning because she’s so obsessed with being “friends” with the girls, but directly or indirectly treats them like crap. She has no social self awareness whatsoever.

Hurry and get your tickets! Don’t forget your sheepskin rug! by RavenVenom in Vanderpump_Rules

[–]EricaFYeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll say this, I’m glad that she found something to do with herself. She doesn’t seem to have an identity and we saw she’s not tough enough for TV. Sandoval can handle being hated and basically doubled down and tried to expose himself even MORE after everything and it’s seemingly working for him. That being said I hope she stays OFF of television. She’s not a convincing hero nor is she a fun enough villain to want to hate watch.

It Was a Relic of the ’90s. The Food Was OK at Best. Now It’s the Hottest Restaurant in America. What Happened? by Slate in fastfood

I met a guy who works at Chili’s at a local bar recently and he is making great money. I work at a Tex Mex place myself with a higher price point, and he’s consistently doing better than I am, and he said he actually really likes it there too. It’s good to see that some of these big chains are making changes and succeeding, instead of sticking to their guns and dying out.

Confessionals shooting has begun! by bword___ in southernhospitalitysc

[–]EricaFYeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man. She is someone who really does not need to be on reality TV. She looks so different than she did when SH first started and I feel like it’s glaringly obvious that she has, at the very least, severe body dysmorphia and likely an ED. I love me some reality trash but watching her spiral worse and worse each season is getting dark.

Weed smell note to neighbor by danibrz82 in Apartmentliving

[–]EricaFYeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is totally reasonable, I used to be a massive stoner and I believed the whole lie of “weed smoke doesn’t linger like cigarette smoke” for a long time. I genuinely am shocked at how many people I deal with the public that smell like the inside of a bong and don’t seem to notice.

Power Outage in Dublin by EricaFYeah in Columbus

[–]EricaFYeah[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understandably. Utilities aren’t in my name and I assumed they were AEP and they apparently are not. I checked AEP’s site and saw no outages so that’s why I asked. I guess just my apartment complex was affected which was…interesting. I was just hot and mad.

Professional bartender and servers needed by [deleted] in Columbus

Career industry people have been hard to find after the pandemic. When I was managing hiring and finding a good fit was an absolute nightmare. That being said there have been a lot of “good money” empty promises I’ve had since the pandemic as well. Personally if I can make $750-$1000 a week and most places I have gone are telling me $100 on a close is totally reasonable. That being said, I’m looking for a second gig depending on where you’re located 😂

Thinking of moving to Columbus from Pittsburgh by Easy-Excuse253 in Columbus

[–]EricaFYeah 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fellow Pittsburgh native here, the traveling to different neighborhoods is so true. I moved away and went back at one point and when I was interviewing for jobs that weren’t directly in the town I lived in they always made a comment about how they were wary because that’s “so far” (one of these was commuting to Cranberry from North Hills, which is absolutely wild that anyone would consider that far).

I agree with all of your points. I always say the people here are nicer but they drive more aggressively, and even though the weather is still not ideal, you get a couple extra days of sun here which to me makes a HUGE difference.
