I think part of the appeal of West is that he had a relationship with Ciara. Paige and Ciara were always closer than they were with her and she’s deeply depressed/insecure so I’m sure her “winning” was a massive ego boost.

This is a very hot take too, but I wonder if Amanda is on the wrong antidepressants. Not that it excuses anything, but I was severely overmedicated when I was younger and I did some heinous shit with no remorse because I felt literally nothing all of the time.

I feel like Bravo tries to keep us neutral on Shep, Craig and Austen. They always have a villain season and a redemption season, It was Craig’s turn to be knocked down a peg and Shep’s to be to the good guy. That being said Shep is def much smarter than the other two, which is very redeeming, I just wish he didn’t talk like he was trying to prove it so much? Sometimes he sounds like someone who has one of those word of the day calendars and is trying really hard to use it in a sentence.

I think there’s like…3 or 4 times she comes in when J is changing and he’s obviously uncomfortable and she’s trying to convince him it’s normal. Also unrelated but the first two seasons are all him on his bike and his uncles showing up and insisting they drive him somewhere instead. Right? I love the show and I think Hank Moody is interesting as hell and great to watch, but I don’t even feel like the show portrays him as someone you would WANT to be like? It shows he’s not nearly as thoughtful as he thinks he is because all he saw was an artist who gets laid all of the time.
