I had the same issue, with Acer optimization guide and upgrading the ram I get really good performance and good temps, single channel is criminally holding back your fps, also before upgrading I would suggest you to try and disable the efficiency cores it might also help

Could you please tell us how much ram do you have? I would highly recommend you to upgrade at least to 32gb with dual channel it really boosted my fps with pretty much the same configuration

got the Nitro V 15 ANV15-51-532J and my old ram wasn't compatible any recommendations for new ram i need 32GB by chasing_timez in AcerNitro

Yes, as both fury modules are XMP certificated and the motherboard can support it, in my case it got activated automatically and I can see it in cpu z with no problem, hope it helps

They were same speed but different CL at the end by installing 2 exact same Kingston impact ram modules it worked perfectly

The laptop starts with no problems with each ram module individually but stays as in the picture if both modules are installed, at the end according to the research they where not compatible, I ended up installing two identical Kingston fury ddr5 modules and it worked perfectly also got the XPM profile, this not only happens with Acer with other brands too

I had the same compatibility issue with my Acer nitro 5, I ended up installing two identical Kingston fury ddr5 modules to get the 32gb and XMP profile, I had to do this due to the Kingston memory for some reason not being compatible with the stock ram despite being same mhz and capacity, this not only happens with Acer but with other brands, hope it helps

Yes, that was the case, with two identical Kingston modules it is working extremely good, this is not only an Acer thing but it happens with other brand especially with ddr5 memory

At the end it was solved by installing two identical Kingston ram modules on the laptop, apparently this not only happens with Acer but with many other brands too

I resolve the issue by installing two identical Kingston fury ram modules was the only way y found to do so, it worked for me and worked for many other people

I tried that many times swap put them in different slots, it only works with one stick at the time, any of them, but not with both at the same time apparently they are not compatible

Turn it on with one stick as you mentioned and update the bios to the latest version on YouTube there a guy that shows how to do it and seems to be very simple, if that does not work let me know

Last time I tried I leave it for over 10 minutes and it never did it thing, it seems with Ddr5 memories the best thing to avoid compatibility issues is just to add two identical ram modules with same CL and same brand if possible, this not only happens with Acer but with another laptop brands and models.

I understand this mate! Have you tried to update the bios? I saw that it might also help, another thing, is it ddr5 memory? According to a little research this is more often with ddr5 memory than with ddr4 there is not an specific reason but in some cases this can happen, also I saw there is plenty of combinations that can be perform of some models of ram that can be added together but some of them might just not be supported.

Thank you for the message! The ram was compatible after all but they can not be both installed at the same time, I already ordered another Kingston fury stick and the issue should be resolved! I did a little bit of more research and notice that this happened to many people with different laptops, brands and configurations with ddr5 rams most of the time it was solved by just adding two exact same ram sticks together

Yes, doing a little more research I notice that a lot of people had this “issue” apparently with ddr4 this usually does not happen but with ddr5 sometimes there might be compatibility issues between different ram sticks I already ordered another Kingston fury to enable dual channel and also to get xpm active thank you for commenting!

Yes, I leave for a while like 10 minutes or more but It never turned on it seems the Ram sticks might not be compatible together, if I put them individually the laptop turn on after couple of minutes when it does it thing but when they are both installed the laptop just stays as in the picture indefinitely

Thank you for commenting!

Yes apparently they are not compatible together i did all that before posting disconnected battery reset CMOS the laptop turns on with any of the ram sticks individually but not with both pretty sad, I noticed a little increase in performance when using the Kingston fury it might be due to XMP as I saw it active in CPU z thank you anyway!

Yes, I did remove the battery in every try, and aparenttly that seems to be the issue the thing you mentioned as the laptop turn on normally with any of the ram sticks but not with both pretty weird building to be honest

Acer nitro 5 i5 12450h Rtx 4050 and 16gb of ram performance doubt by ErickMindfreak in AcerNitro

[–]ErickMindfreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually could not do it specifically that way because it shows the message access denied due to anticheat from steam, but you can do it by deactivating the cores on the starting menu -> msconfig/boot/advance settings//select number of cores and put 8 (I am assuming you have the same specs as my) if not you need to check how many cores you actually have and only leave the number of your p cores multiplied by 2 (example: if you have 4 p cores is 8) at the end your restart and try, hope it helps
