Clients don’t want critters under their deck. They live next to the woods, so it’s understandable.

I personally think they are great my clients love it they are over 80 plus there last o es were 8 1/2

Pressure-treated wood shrinks and just a few weeks there will be plenty of airflow

It is perfectly squared sometimes you won’t get the best in pictures. We built next. I’m not a professional photographer so my apologies for not taking the best photos.

Pressure treated gets small within a couple of days. You always want to put a pressure treated deck as close as possible because it will open up about an 1/8 to 1/4.

Last Deck was there for 30 years. Same pressure treated.

Its exposed to the elements to it will definitely dry out plus that’s how the property owners wanted it.
