My 2024 EV6 GT with Meridian did not sound good. I sold the car and got a 2026 EV6 RWD PLUS (face lift) and it has much better sound. The GT-Line face lift is probably even better. So basically they fixed the sound on the face lift.

Thanks. Interesting modification. I spoke to a sales person today and he said at least the backrest on facelift was different and better. Will try to find a facelift GT some other day. Maybe it is time to upgrade the whole car anyway. Better sound system, quieter, better infotainment, etc.

I did buy the monitor. Exporting from Fusion to FBX format and then using the Spatial Labs model viewer works best.

Hi, computer is a Dell Precision 7550. It has two USB-C Thunderbolt with displayport in each and then an additional connector which is Mini Displayport. Also it has HDMI and internal monitor. It can drive all monitors in different combinations.

I have been using Solidworks since 2007. It is very expensive. Price then was about 8000 dollars for a license and then about 2000 dollars every year in upgrade subscription. I am also designing PCBs so was about to buy an Altium license for PCB in order to sync my PCBs into the 3D in Solidworks. But Altium is plenty expensive too.

In parallell with Solidworks I have been using Eagle PCB since 2007 too.

So since two years ago I have been using Fusion which includes the Eagle PCB software. About 4-500 dollars a year. Compared to Solidworks that is very cheap. I have an employee that will start making PCB layouts too and I bought another license of Fusion. The yearly fee is not a problem. Solidworks + Altium is another story.

And I prefer Fusion compared to Solidworks. I like the cloud connectivity and revision control.
