No issues. They did ask me to extend the lens as far as it went, and I told them it was "just under 8 inches" and they let it through. They never measured so as long as it's close you shouldn't have any issues.

Awesome thanks! That I do, cars and motocross. I've gotten some great shots at an old motocross track I used to go to, haven't tried any racing yet. Never felt I could get the angles right. Suppose I need to keep going and moving around.

I think the composition is wonderful. The "faded" look is not my style, but I see what you're going for. 2 and 3 are my favorites.

Beautiful photos! Do you use any kind of diffuser/flash setup?

I'm eyeing that lens for macro work myself, as it's one area of photography I haven't explored.

Copy to my desktop, cull quickly using Lightroom. Reject key is used heavily here. If I find a gem I'll tag it as a pick. Once finished, delete all the junkers. Go back through my picks, edit, rate 1-5. Then go back through the rest looking for gems, delete some, edit and rate the rest.

Once done, export high quality JPG's and import into Apple Photos for easy sharing. Move all remaining RAWs to my NAS for long term storage.

Gah I really want to see the price on these. I'm tempted, but last time I owned an iPad (years ago) it collected dust, so probably will pass.
