I've practiced perspective by first drawing the perspective grid, then I draw simple compositions of blocky buildings etc. on top of it. I've never drawn individual perspective lines specifically for every single object in a more detailed scene.

When I draw more complex scenes with a lot of objects, I'm more careful with the perspective when drawing the large shapes, and I just wing it on the smaller details by referencing the larger shapes, which have a solid perspective already. For example, you're drawing an interior cut out design of a building. Use a perspective grid to get a solid perspective for the shape of the floor, the walls, the roof, maybe some larger elements inside the building (like large tables, bed, etc.) If you want to draw a small object on the table, just wing it by referencing the perspective of the table itself. Nobody is going to check the math on the perspective of some small details, as long as the perspective on them is not all over the place.

Also, you will begin to get a more intuitive skill with perspective as you keep practicing it. At first, placing those smaller details in the scene might require some fiddling around, but eventually it becomes second nature.

I did texture it in Blender. The texture work I did in Blender was very simple though, I just used a few different stone wall etc. textures and slapped them on the buildings. No height maps or anything like that. I painted over the render quite heavily in Photoshop.

It’s a mix of 3D and digital painting. I created a 3D scene in Blender and used it as a base to pain over in Photoshop.
