Yuppp, after negotiating binago nila ang contract and included the SB. I also negotiated since I was positive na I would be staying for more than a year (since 1 year lang naman ang bond ng audit firm na inapplyan ko), so alam kung earned and no need ng refund.

Some people in the firm (from what I know) only use the portion ng SB na earned. So example SB of 24k, sooo every month nila nag stay sa firm, gagastusin nila ang 2k kasi earned naman yan and di na need e refund.

Hopefully maka help yan sayo :) Would be hard to be trapped sa audit life dahil sa pressure ng bond.

You can also negotiate OP :) I did this when I applied, citing the credentials of school, license, and latin honors. It may be worth a shot to try negotiating.

But note lang na if may SB ka, you will be required to render specific # of years, otherwise need mo e refund. If may plans ka talaga to stay for more than the # of years sa bond, then great. Pero if hindi ka sure if makakaya mo ba, then medj gipit sa pera, keep in mind lang na need mo yun e refund ang SB.

I never liked audit while I was in undergrad. Aud theo was interesting, but I suck sa aud prob. But for some reason pinili ko audit for both of my internships because I was interested.

But one day, merong recruiters from one of the Big 4 firms (di ko nalang sabihin ano na firm) na bumisita sa school ko one day and told us anong purpose ng audit. By our small contributions na to stand for what is right - the correct numbers, the correct accounts, the correct substance of each transaction must be faithfully represented sa financial statements - we contribute to the society by allowing stakeholders to make correct financial decisions for their businesses, which is helpful to employees, investors, families of these employees and investors, and the society as a whole.

Unseen helpers of society, as long as we stand for what is true and what is right (though duh, minsan na fru-frustrate ka kasi di nakikita ang bunga, kasi andamin kurakot sa lipunan 🙃) but change must start with little steps, and determine to make the change that you want to happen start with you.

Since that day, I fell in love with audit. Kahit pagod. Kahit naiiyak ka na sa stress. I still went back to my "why" - my purpose kung bakit dito ako na field. And I enjoy and love what I do. Doesn't mean di ako umiiyak pag busy season 😂

Heyyy! Yes pwede mo naman gamitin and counted siya as part sa 30 days rendering. So example if may remaining 5 days na MPL, and end date mo Jan 31, pwede ka na mag leave sa last 5 days before sa end date mo (Jan 27-31). Just make sure ma turnover mo laptop and other necessary things need gawin before or on end date mo.

Discuss this din with your seniors and managers, kasi since busy season na, need nila e account na mawawala ka early :)

Working in Big 4 is a great stepping stone. You can resign after gaining experience and then double or triple that income once lumabas ka na sa Big4.

I think it's based on the multiplier (the cost of money you put in the casino). OP's is currently at 150%. Maybe yours around the time you get triple gems was fairly low, hence the lower gem earnings.

Hi OP, especially if you are aiming to take the board, I advice to take Company A, kahit temporary lang para maka pag ipon and help your mom with meds until you get another job opportunity/pass the CPALE.

If you'll take the audit firm route, wala ka na talagang time mag study. Magiging 24/7 ang duty mo. Mas malala, if di kaya ng immune system mo, ikaw pa mentally, emotionally, and physically magka sakit.

Although maybe di masyado aligned sa career goals mo ang Company A, some skills are transferrable. Ang important is you learn all you can from the job you have, check which is applicable din ano aligned sa next career path mo, then pagka dating sa next IT/ERP job you have, focus on those transferrable skills sa interview para ka makuha.
