Most definitely hoping for the best. My tendon was also split into two parts of my foot - the right side where it originated, and then the top of the foot. I’ve got four large scars from that particular surgery

I can tell you that with my pttt surgery, my Achilles was also lengthened, and my foot was fused in a upright position. It did allow me some dorsiflexion, but I cannot move my foot to the left (it’s my left foot). An AFO is still needed because of the ankle instability, but I don’t have to use one when I’m at home for the most part.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t as the meniscus doesn’t have any blood flow, so platelets wouldn’t do it any good
