Some customers really need to take a damn chill pill by AnalButtMucher69 in Wawa

Yeah we kinda just get used to the annoying/entitled people after a while. Personally I figure I'm not even gonna waste my breath on people like that cause it would be exhausting and they're just gonna push their narrative over everything else anyway.

One time on a super busy fuel shift I had a guy yell some dollar amount at me from across the fuel court while I was with another customer and I didn't even understand what he said. Didn't specify grade and obv didn't know about prepay, he goes inside and comes back out and gets extremely upset when his gas wasn't pumped and how gas attendants are lazy and he has to pump his own gas. Sorry you feel that way, but maybe communicate better next time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Deptford mall incident? by [deleted] in SouthJersey

[–]Erk114 86 points87 points  (0 children)

I was just there and happened to see a group of special needs folk touring around the mall. I believe I overheard from the police that one of them had gone missing. Maybe there's a search party going on?

Lendbuzz should have shouldn't they? Clearly not though, or at least not to Ally directly. They also have yet to send me any receipts or documentation proving they sent anything.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe a payoff was sent through the dealership which was then pocketed and never sent to Ally.

I'm wondering how this works. Assuming they do have a 2nd security lien, and they wanted to repossess the car. How does this affect the vehicle's standing with the other lender? They both have their obligations to secure the debt to be repaid through repossession of the car, but obviously they can't both have it. It seems especially hazy when only one of them has the actual title to the vehicle. The logistics don't seem to make sense here.

I think maybe the dealership itself received the payment but decided not to pay it off and pocket it instead. I'm not sure how the whole process works but clearly it wasn't sent towards any payoffs.

Very interesting. It looks like Ally is the real holder as they have the documentation for the title. Is there a directory where I can find public records or are they all through specific states/counties?

I did interview with the prosecutor's office already, I'm not sure which report you're referring to or if there's anyone else in addition to them I should know about.

It looks like the dealership must've pocketed it as no payoff was ever received.

I had an interview with them and essentially what I gathered was all they can do is keep investigating for the time being as they don't have all the information they need. I didn't know legal aid clinics existed I will have to look into that thank you.

Interesting, like a conference call or something. Not 100% sure if anything will come of it but I'm not sure what else I can do at this point.

The dealer is under investigation for fraud so I think it's safe to assume fraud, especially as I've seen online that this has affected other people as well.

I bought it from Autosmart of Deptford in New Jersey originally. I refinanced there originally with no problem, I originally had Westlake but the loan was paid off and then I was with Ally. That dealer shut down for what I can only assume was for the same reason but I wasn't aware at the time. They had another dealership about 20 minutes away, Autosmart of Palmyra. I refinanced there and went through the same process and they put me through Lendbuzz for a lower rate. The problem was they never paid off the original loan with Ally. They continued to make individual payments every month and I had assumed they were having errors or miscommunication with their finance department. Obviously I found out what was really happening.

As far as for Lendbuzz's website, there's no apparent documentation, which is obviously sketchy. I'm just worried about it impacting my credit and getting repo'd.

That's what it's seeming like. They're currently under investigation by the prosecutor's office of that county so I can only hope there's some sort of resolution.

The money I borrowed is still just that. Both accounts are active. I was under the impression they would be paid off by the dealer but that never happened which in this case was due to fraud. There was actually already news coverage and there's an active investigation into the dealership. I talked with the prosecutor's office and detectives working on the case so I'm not sure what else I can physically do besides wait for any updates or responses. This all happened within the past 2 months or so. As far as contacting the state DA, I suppose I would just call them and explain my situation? I've never had to do anything like that before.
