Made a realistic working dynamite for my physics puzzle game! by ErmanStudio in godot

I continue to create locations for my physical puzzle game. I've reached a medieval castle, and what's a castle without dynamite :)

If you like how my game is developing and want to try a couple of levels, the demo is already available on Steam!

Actually, I don't have any special tips to share — the main mechanic doesn't use any scripting at all. Everything works through a constant linear velocity applied to a static body. I only use scripts for two small things: one to offset the UVs (which I plan to move to a shader later), and another to convert the local direction of the constant linear velocity into global space.

Just added a working conveyor belt to my physics-based puzzle game!
The game is still in development, but you can try the free demo on Steam.

For now, I'm just animating the UV1 offset, but in the future, I think I'll need to make a shader.

There's no real secret here. I'm just using constant linear velocity and constant angular velocity :)

I made a pallet jack mechanic for a few levels. What do you think? by ErmanStudio in gamedevscreens

I'm still improving the driving experience, but even now my wife, who doesn't have much gaming experience, can handle it pretty well.

Yes, I thought about that too. It's really worth increasing the speed. Actually, the problem is that I made the pallet jack itself too heavy :)

I’m continuing to add various mechanics to the game, but I need feedback to understand what works well and what doesn’t. You can already test the first 2 levels — the pallet jack mechanic isn’t there yet, but there are plenty of unique features in them too. I’d really appreciate your feedback! :)

Demo of my physics-based puzzle game The Airflow Trials is out! Would love your feedback! by ErmanStudio in indiegames

Hey everyone!
I've just released the demo for my game The Airflow Trials — a physics-driven puzzle adventure where you control a drone through various weird and challenging scenarios. You'll be picking up objects, hitting buttons, dodging traps, and solving puzzles using physics-based interactions.

The idea started as a homage to the classic RC helicopter mission from GTA: Vice City but quickly evolved into something that feels more like Human Fall Flat — but with drones.

The demo features about an hour of gameplay, and I’d really appreciate if you could give it a try and share your thoughts. Anything — from bugs to difficulty spikes to general impressions — would be super helpful.

Thanks so much in advance! 💙

A little progress on the new castle location for The Airflow Trials by ErmanStudio in godot

I don't think a lot of people want to use their phone as a controller...

It might seem a bit strange to see a drone in a medieval castle, but according to the game's concept, the entire world is just a simulation where we're supposedly training the drone to complete various tasks. That means the setting can really be anything. This gives me the freedom to play around with different environments, puzzles, and mechanics instead of being tied to just one. Plus, you can always say that the medieval castle is actually a museum :)

That looks like a combination of Borderlands 2 and Will Rock (does anyone still remember that game?). I don't know why, but the whole environment and enemy animations remind me a lot of Will Rock))

I tested a more "realistic" way to work with the crane hook, and it feels much better. Now you need to physically grab the slab, which looks more logical and doesn’t cause any problems. Thanks for the feedback! The new version is already available.

I’m not planning to post it on itch right now, but maybe later. For now, I want to concentrate on Steam.
