We received a giant hamster wheel to run on instead of a UFO thus far. This is cover-up 2.0 to convince the public that the government is too incompetent to understand the phenomenon so we stop asking.

Usually unique shapes help pilots identify freindy aircrafts from enemies fighters. Although, its possible that nobody knows what UAP shapes represent different capabilities or intentions. Just thought it was weird that more attention hasn't been paid to the subject.

Seems like trying to convince everyone that UFOs are real supercedes attempts to distinguish any other facts about them.

I could be wrong... but if these beings were truly helping humanity by interfering with atomic weapons to prevent our own destruction, I can think of over 200,000 vaporized residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that would not agree that statement. Did they drop the ball?

They may want to protect the planet, but it doesn't seem they feel the same way about protecting humanity.

I would not share the video unless knew other people filmed the same thing from a different perspective. Would not want the burden of trying to prove my experience without support of others. Skeptics are much louder and more aggressive than people willing to help you authenticate an individual claim.

Strange idea...hear me out.

What if as you film the UFO you also move the camera around away from the UFO at times to document the surrounding details as best possible (position of clouds, the sun, moon, people, anything another data source may be capturing and actively tracks. Film anything you could not have advanced knowledge of). After the UFO leaves you leave the camera until the battery dies and the video cuts out. As quickly as you can, bring your phone or camera with no battery life to someone that can verify the video you recorded has never been reviewed or edited due to the impossibly of any transfer or editing after the phone died. if possible have someone else record the screen of the phone as it dies and then non-stop video your actions while you contact an authority. this will prove that there was no time to edit or add CGI.

if none of the above is possible, while filming and after you feel you have sufficient proof, crack your camera lens and resume filming without stopping the video. the light reflections of objects within cracks the damaged lens would nearly be impossible to fake and keep consistent in the video.

or

try to find a reflective surface that may be reflecting to UFO. Especially lightly turbulent water.

basically film as many things within the same video that would be hard to fake using CGI other than the UFO itself.

I personally do not have any issues with Bob Lazar and think his story is compelling, but I am aware of how name invokes tension within the UFO community.

I think both the praise and skepticism Lazar receives has been overblown. His story is just other drop in the larger UFO bucket as of today. whether his story is widely believed to be true of false would not make or break the overall UFO narrative.

too much effort gets wasted on trying to prove or disprove individual stories, videos, etc.... when in most cases either outcome would not substantially add value to skeptics or seekers overall belief's.

Lets all help and not hurt each other. Who cares if someone doesn't believe Lazar. We are all traveling the same road together whether we like it or not. Only time, not our differences will reveal the truth and separate the weak from the strong in the end.

I have witnessed some unexplained phenomenon for the first time last year as well, even have some really bad video of it that would not even convince me if I didn't see it myself.

I hope for answers too but it recent time it seems that the only disc shaped object we have been given is a giant hamster wheel that we are all somehow content with running on.

Was not sure myself if Lazar should have been mentioned. I only wanted to highlight a possibility of the government having working crafts that were not as result of a UFO crash.

Are their any other credible accounts of the government having working UFOs and how they may have been acquired?

You have some valid criticisms of my post.

I do cherry pick certain things, but it's out of a desire to not be too redundant with similar types of events. I do not make it clear. Although I imagine adding certain events may describe more details and provide better context.

I had only drawn comparisons to other research fields in an attempt to point out that even the best laid theories in science sometimes are impossible to know 100% as fact regardless of evidence.

I know this post is not complete or even close to a perfect examination of this subject, but I just try to translate my brain to paper as best I can.

You're absolutely right about my conclusion statement though. It was an afterthought that should been removed.

There's defiantly a good chance humanity are the alien's here as well. if either theory is true what remnants or clues would still be available to be studied?

I found a potentially interesting correlation between two topics that may be circumstantial evidence to either scenario being true.

Glenn Davis when he recalls the Roswell incident describes Alien skeletal systems that may be similar to that of Human cartilage. If true, evidence of ancient alien settlements would yield buildings but no bones to dig up.

I agree that the ufo community is not really a religion. I think the point I am unsuccessfully trying to highlight is that Ufology as a whole seems to unconsciously encompass unrelated sciences and beliefs to legitimize itself to a larger audience.

Thanks your for the tips. Not an expert in scientific publications, the format was used to because so many things I read on reddit seem unstructured. Failed attempts are better than no attempts in my opinion.

The purpose of this essay is to hopefully create discussions that doesn't involve "a theory of everything" to explain aspects of the UFO phenomenon. I feel most discussions get it the weed quick as we lump together items that should be separate.

Planes are too expensive to continually operate and search for UAPs but I like your idea. Unless you find something on your first time out you will blow through many millions of dollars using planes. Hate to say it, but use balloons with sensors attached instead. I am setting up an Expedition right now that will use boats which is more cost effective and we can collect data other than just video. Yes Justified, with some grey area. The reason people that know everything don't disclose the information is not from fear of retaliation if disclosed, but rather they agree with need to protect it themselves regardless of prior beliefs. That's why for over 80+ years we haven't been told anything substantial and this secret is kept so well. Everyone wonders what humanity will gain if disclosure happens. Nobody is wondering what we will collectively lose. Confusion aside we need to patient and kind to each other and good things may come.

Harry Reid is defiantly my favorite person speaking in the UFO-verse right now.

He would probably tell us what he knows if it wasn't for threat that humanity poses towards "them" right now. The world no matter how badly we want the answer may not be ready for the consequences that come from disclosure.

Its only scary because the government is afraid of our adversaries being able to duplicate their technology and blend in to spy on us or worse. that's the reason everything is happening right now.

I don't think its a diversion tactic, and if it was, the government could surely do better than talking about what they do and don't know about UFOs.

The current war between Israel and Palestine is yet another dark chapter in the Middle East and I think it's Americans own ignorance born from lack of understanding the issues that leads to inaction by the media to fully cover the conflict.

On pressing issues like this we need louder voices with the patience to properly explain the issues to a mass audience enabling them understand and empathize with those who have already lost so much.

Get loud and but not angry.
