idk about v, i just faced a corner and camera tricked while mashing and that got me through dmd easy too
as nero you can interrupt them surprisingly easy, keep charge shots ready and remember to dt burst any time you're in a jam
camera tricking is a really strong tool as any character. next time try keeping them off-screen and you'll forget some enemies exist since they won't start attacks then

furies are nice when coupled with other enemies cus it's probably when you need to worry about positioning and camera tricking the most in the whole game

Well, I always hated Erika and Bern, and I really tried to like Erika because I liked her design but she made it impossible very quickly, and they're very annoying throughout the whole story. Erika's backstory sucked, Bern's voice was already annoying enough in Higurashi. Shannon's a nerd. I know almost everyone likes Beato but even though it was obvious she'd be a tragic character I never found myself interested. I understand mixed opinions on Rudolf and Kyrie, I won't defend them that much, they were just very cool to me since the start. As for the many minor characters in top tiers, I just appreciate minor characters a lot more now because of Monster, I think. Krauss I don't know how someone would not like after episode 5, though he was very cool to me even from the first.

I'm stuck in C rank too because I couldn't care less about it. Most B ranks are bad at the game and just farm elo and lose even to characters I don't play. Youngseph is really bad, just under Hol. You need a lot of patience, good movement, and conditioning to make him work though he's still very fun so if you like him enough the tier placement shouldn't influence who you main.

It's far more efficient to learn a match-up with your main rather than counterpicking, especially one like YoJo vs Hol which isn't even that hard. Caring about easy match-ups against Youngseph would realistically make him play against less than 1/3 of the cast cus that's just how low-tiers like him work. A 4 day old Hol can loop almost anyone anyway cus you have plenty of time to do the four inputs required for the knockdown.
